I was finishing a 30-minute run when Jacob woke up around 8:30. Adam woke up at 9:00. The boys watched Bob the Builder while eating breakfast at their little table. Adam was making me cakes from their stacking toys. He’d bring me some pieces in a bowl saying, “Cake Mommy?” Before we could eat any, he’d fold his hands and say, “Pray Mommy.” I'd pray and he'd say, “Amen” when I was done. Jacob got out the foam blocks saying, “I thought Adam would like these again so I got them out.” They had fun building houses. Jacob put some foam blocks in the pizza box and said he was a deliveryman. Adam tried to take some of the foam blocks out of his pizza box and Jacob bit his arm. After lunch we went outside. The temp was in the low 40’s and it was sunny. But the wind made it feel very chilly. We stayed out for about an hour. Adam ran right to the fort saying, “Lide (slide) Mommy? Lide Mommy?” The boys enjoyed going down the slide. Adam went down on his belly every time. I said, “Hi handsome” to Jacob and then Adam came over to me saying, “Hi handsen.” Jacob pushed around the wheel barrel and Adam pulled the little wagon in the yard. Jacob asked to go back inside for hot chocolate because he was cold. I made them some hot chocolate with their afternoon snack. We read books and sang some songs. At 2:30 I tucked Adam in for a nap. Jacob rested while playing with automoblox. He also drew on his chalkboard. I gave him a pen and some sticky paper and he drew many pictures. Then he pretended to be a seller, selling his drawings. I got in my car and drove over to his store so I could look at his drawing and pick out some to buy. After a while Jacob said his store was closed as he locked up. Adam woke up at 4:30. We got out the wooden blocks and the road rug to play with. The boys hauled blocks over to the rug using the dump trucks. Soon after Jared came home Adam and I went outside to take care of the animals. Now Adam can walk up and down the steps without hanging on to anything. He had fun riding in the wagon and climbing the hay. He’d step across the hay bales and look over the edge of the loft saying, “Long way down!” I asked him if he wanted to help me carry the water bucket and he said, ‘No.” I said, “ok” to which he replied, “I do want to!” Jacob was playing with playdoh when we came back inside. He and Adam played with that until dinner was ready. After dinner Jacob asked Daddy to play Mario galaxy. Adam was lying on Jacob’s bed with Daddy. He rolled off the bed and then looked at Daddy and said, “Woooaa!” Jacob had fun pretending we (Mommy and Daddy) were the kids and he was the Daddy. He tucked us in bed and as he left the room he said, “Goodnight guys.” Adam made me some more cake. When I asked him for a drink he lifted his arms in the air and said, “All gone.” We played a little hide and seek until snacktime. They were tucked in bed by 9pm. Jared and I watched 24.

So, do Jacob's kids ever misbehave? Does one of Jacob's kids bite the other's arm? What would parent-Jacob do if kid-Jared bit kid-Kimmy's arm? (Or vice versa.)

It kind of sounded like Jacob bit Adam's arm...that was lunch and after that.....

Poor Adam. I would expect him to be the one trying to bite, not Jacob. Kids are kids. I bet Jacob was so sorry afterwards.

I love the picture of You and Adam and also the one of Jared with the boys. So precious!!! Love ya
