Jared work only until noon today because we had an appointment to have a vet out to give our horse Sam and exam. We cannot keep any weight on him. The appointment was at 2:00 and both kids fell asleep around 1:30. While we were waiting for the doctor we washed our old Ford tractor. The doctor looked at his teeth first and said, as he suspected, Sammy was in need of dental work. He did some major filing down of his teeth to get them looking the way they should. Sammy was so good that he didn't need any sedation. We also picked up meds for his arthritis and ulcer meds to prevent ulcers that the pain meds could cause. He said we should be able to get him back in shape enough where we will be able to ride him again. The doctor left around 4pm and both boys were still asleep. Soon after we got in they woke up. We made deviled eggs for a church gathering tonight. Jared and some guys from church are joining fantacy football and they are picking their teems tonight.

Today is our 4yr wedding anniversary. Jared came home from work early so we could spend the day together. Jacob wore his new cars underwair for most of the day and only had 2 accidents. We dropped our truck off to get the breaks fixed and then went over to the mall to walk around and pick up my wedding ring. I had bent a prong and they called to say it was ready to be picked up. Mom and Kenzie came over to watch the boys while Jared and I went out for dinner and a movie. She brought McDonald happy meals for dinner. We went to the Mongolian barbecue for dinner and the meal was really good. After the movie we went to meijer and walked around. We both thought it was really different to walk around without a stroller or a cart in front of us. It was really nice to spend time together. When we got back Jacob was in bed calling my name. I went in to see him and he asked if he could come out. He ran straight to Daddy and gave him a big hug. We showed him the spiderman underwair we had got him. He fell asleep really fast tonight. Adam had been asleep when we got home. Mom said they were both really good. She had brought the Cars movie over for them to watch together.

Yesterday we left Jared's car at my mom's house so this morning I took him there and he left for work. I went with my parents and Kenzie to a breakfast with a group that meets every Wed. From there I took the boys over to Mel's house. Hailey was still sleeping when I got there but Max was up. We took them outside to play in the sandbox. When Hailey woke up she came out and joined us. The kids wanted go swimming - so we got their suits on and in they went. They all had so much fun. At first Jacob had a hard time standing up in the pool. He kept slipping and falling over into the water - he seemed to like falling in the water - Mel and I were laughing. He slid down the slide many times. Hailey sprayed Jacob with the hose and he ran away but soon came back for more - they were both laughing. We took them inside for lunch and to watch a firetruck video. Then we meet my Mom and Kenzie and a playground. It felt really hot and humid outside. The kids cheeks were so red. I took Kenzie with me to Adam's Dr appt and Jacob went to Aunt Missy's house. Adam's Dr appt went really well. He weighed 16 lbs 15.3 ounces and is 25 1/2 inches long. He had 5 injections all separate and 1 oral vaccination. He only cried when they were giving the shots after they were done he was back to himself and smiling. Jacob was laying down in Hailey's room when we got there to pick him up. He wanted to sit on Hailey's potty one more time before we left. On the way to take Kenzie back to Mom's we stopped at BabiesRUs and Meijer. At Meijer I let Jacob pick out some underware and he was excited to get the Cars underware. He fell asleep on the drive home. I lay him on our couch when we got home because I didn't want him sleeping too late and not going to bed well tonight. We ended up waking him and he took a bath to help him wake up. Then I took him outside to play for a little before dinner. He loved wearing his new underware.

While Adam was taking a morning nap, Jacob and I went outside. I trimmed some bushes while Jacob played with his truck. Today I made dinner to take over to my Dad's for his b-day. They kids helped Papa blow out his candles which we lite several times. Kenzie made a cake and we also had ice cream. Took the kids outside and they went down the slide over and over. They had so much fun and we enjoyed watching them play together.

Jacob called me this morning saying, "I awake mama". He followed me back to our bedroom and climbed on the bed to lay down by Truman. You can hear Adam talking in the monitor.

Oh what a dog.

Jared here, The other night I was getting ready to put Jacob's PJs on. I wanted to put on his crocodile pjs but for some reason I couldn't locate the shirt. I just figured it was miss placed and or in the wash. Didn't think much of it other than Kimmy must know where it was so I wasn't too concerned. I found another set of pjs and got Jacob suited up and off to bed. This morning at work I noticed kimmy had called and phoned her back. She said you'll never guess what happened. You remember those crocodile pjs...I said yes the top was missing last night...she said "I know I couldn't seem to find them either the night before. I said ok what's going on with them... she said well Truman was getting sick and up chucked a mess. If you don't know our dog Truman, a yellow lab, has a history of eating socks and barfing them up a day or two later. One must be very careful not to leave them on the bedroom floor. Ok so I bet you can see where this is going. Kimmy then said that in the mess as she was cleaning it up she noticed it wasn't a sock but a very twisted piece of cloth. After hosing the mess off it was discoverd that the location of the crocodile pjs happened to have been in Truman's belly for the last couple of days. Truman in the past has gotten ahold of various tshirts and has not swallowed them but has chewed them and put holes in them or torn off a sleeve or other chuck. Kimmy upon hosing off the pj top noticed it was still completly in tact and she mentioned it was completly brown. Half digested dog food etc. YUM YUM. She thought she'd chuck the pj top in the washer and just see what would happen... the top was cleaner but still not quite there... after a intense wipe down with stain stick and other stain removing items and several more washes... VOILA a clean pj top. The picture is the pj top post trip through Trumans stomach. How cool is that!!! How many kids have shirts that have been through the stomach of a labrador retriever. I bet I could make a fortune on EBAY with that shirt. We're still not quite sure how he managed to get the top, but hey Truman's stomach in the morning, worn by a little boy at night.

Now, where did I put my socks?

Got to bed late last night because we didn't get home til late. Had to stop at meijer on the way home from my sisters house. Jacob woke up soon after Jared left for work and he was cranky. Adam woke up in a happy mood at around 7:30am. After Jacob ate his breakfast he was in a better mood. We played together and then he lay on the floor next to Adam and they looked at a book. Jacob pointed out things in the book to Adam. I spend some of the morning cleaning up piles of dog puck from Truman. Jacob and Adam both took a long nap today. Jacob was very excited to see Daddy come home. He ran over to him and gave him a big hug. He wanted Jared run and jump over him. He was in a really hyper mood this evening. When we were reading his book before bed he said, "I potty". I took him to the potty and he squeezed out just a quarter amount. We dumped it and he said he had to go potty again. This time he got about the same amout out. We finished reading and I tucked him in bed.

After Jacob woke up from his nap we headed over to Vik and Rody's house. The kids all had fun playing together. They watched out the door when the siren was going off from the firetruck and then as the ice cream truck drove by. We sat them on Papa's motorcycle except Hailey was too scared. Max and Jacob were balancing on the bricks outside and we took pictures of the kids in the grass. It was a fun evening together.

Jared was baptised in church this morning. Mom taught Sunday school at her church, but my Dad was able to make it to this service. Jared's parents also were there. After service we watched Papa leave on his motorcycle - he got new pipes and its really loud. Jacob plugged his ears. Back at home Grandma and Grandpa packed their things so they could get on the road for home. We went outside to say goodbye but Jacob wanted to go back in so he could get on the couch and wave out the window. Jacob was so tired he was laying down playing with his cars. We had lunch and then it was nap time. This evening we are going to Vikki's house to celebrate Rody and my Dad's b-days.

Grandma and Grandpa are here for a visit. It was a nice, relaxing day at home. Kenzie made us chicken salad sandwiches for lunch. Vik and Rody came over to pick up Kenzie. Rody drove our Ford tractor and Vikki took pictures of him. We went out for dinner at Applebees and by the time we got home it was bath time for the boys and time for bed. Grandma rocked Adam to sleep while I was reading to Jacob.

Here are some pictures from our day today. The boys love their cousin Mykenzie. Jacob peed on his potty before bed last night and again this morning. Kenzie helped me clean the house today. Jacob also helped vacuum and mop the kitchen and he helped kenzie with some dusting. When Jared got home from work he fixed the tractor and then he vacuumed the whole house for me. Adam fell asleep while Jared was rocking him so I lay him in his crib for the night. Jacob climbed on the couch with Kenzie and lay with her for a little while.
