This morning we were up before Jacob. We went out to the barn to look at what section of it we wanted to have our neighbor store his equipment. Jacob woke up shortly after we got inside. Daddy went in and got him out of bed. When they came out of the room he came over to me so I could hold him. Daddy went outside to burn some boxes. Jacob wanted to go out too so I took him out in his pjs and wrapped my coat around him. Our neighbor came over and walked through our barn with Jared. Then he came inside to look at our corn burner. Jacob walked around with a little cup and handed it to each of us. After he left we got ready and went out for donuts/muffin. Jared is taking our truck over to Bruces to help him get some lumber and dry wall. He dropped me and Jacob off at Mom's on the way. Kenzie, Hailey, and Max were there. I lay Jacob down for a nap. Mom, Kenzie, Hailey, and I looked through the JcPenny's catalog. Vikki came over with Izzy (their puppy) to pick up Kenzie. Kenzie showed me her peapod plant she has been growing for the last month. She tells me how big it is every time I see her. Then she took it back outside and I heard her crying. The puppy had gotten her plant and ate it. Melissa came over and Mom made mac-n-cheese for lunch. Mel and I got our kids ready and went over to Grandma's house. Jacob went right over to the toys to get his truck. We had a really nice visit at Grandma and Grandpa's. Jared and Bruce met us there. Mom and Dad came over to our house to see our corn burner. We all went out to Pi's for dinner. Jacob was really tired and grumpy. Everything I gave him he'd throw. He ate a little dinner but wanted something when we got home. At home he was in a little better mood though still tired. He stood by Daddy watching him clean out the corn burner.

I got to take Kenzie to school again this morning. Before we left her and Jacob were dancing to some music at Nana's. Mom and Kenzie brought Jacob to my work at 5pm. On my way home from work I got stuck in a traffic jam for about 40 minutes. I think I got about 3-4 miles in all that time. Jacob was looking at a book and then he fell asleep. People were driving crazy. A couple people even flew past me on the right edge of the road. When we got home Jacob walked over to the apple tree and wanted me to help him pick an apple which he took over to the chickens. We took care of the animals and then Jacob wanted to sit on the tractors. Jacob picked a couple flowers and gave one to Daddy and the other to Mommy. I lay down on the couch for a little bit and looked over to see Jacob carring the stool so he could set it next to the couch and climb up with me. Daddy read him his stories tonight. Of course he didn't really read it - he made up his own stories.

Very busy day at work today. Mom, Mel, Kenzie, Hailey, Max, and Jacob came into work at about 4:55pm. They waited til I got out at 5:15pm. I followed them to JcPenny's so Max could get his pictures taken while I watched the kids. Jacob and Hailey sat in the double stroller. First I took them to this thing in the mall you drop your change in and watch it spin to the bottom. Hailey and Kenzie put coins in and I held Jacob as he watched. Then Kenzie asked if we could show Hailey the Build-a-Bear (want-to-be) in our mall. I let Hailey walk around and look at the different animals. Then we went to bath & body and tried on lotions and perfumes. Jacob and Hailey rubbed lotion on their hands and then on their cheeks. We tried out every back massager in the place. I'd rub the kids backs and Kenzie would rub mine. The lady gave Kenzie a free sample of chap stick. After that we went to the Disney store. We passed the vehicles for kids to ride and Hailey said, "I want to ride the bus with Jacob", I got the kids out and let them sit in the vehicles and play. Jacob drove and the girls sat in back. Then the girls got out and sat in a different one. Jacob spun that wheel around so fast. Just as we were getting off the rides Mom and Mel found us. Got home around 7:30pm. There was a beautiful rainbow in the sky. Jacob was pointing at it. The was the most beautiful one I had ever seen - very bright. After dinner Jacob was running around the house being goofy. He played with his school bus and handed it to Mommy then Daddy. Daddy and Jacob played with the blocks. Jacob would build it up a few then knock it down real fast. We went in his bedroom and he played with his tractors. Then he climbed on Mommy and Daddy. He was very tired so he brushed his teeth and then we picked out a couple books to read. He folded his hands as we prayed and then held his hand down to be put in his crib. He fell asleep right away.

Jacob is staying with Nana today. I took Kenzie to school on my way to work. She chated with me the whole way. Jared met me at Salvation army on my way home. Then we went to meijer. Jacob rode on the pony. He didn't want to get off. Jacob was hungry when we got home so I warmed him up some pizza. Jared started up the corn burner. He has been waiting for it to get cold enough. It heats up the house nicely.

After work I got to Mel's and Jacob and Hailey were walking around snacking on little fishies. Mel dressed Max in the outfit he's wearing for his pictures on Thurs. He looked very cute. She showed me the hat Jacob colored and wore alot today. Him and Hailey put them on and walked around in them. Jacob doesn't usually like hats but he loves this one. It a paper hat they got at a restraunt. We took them outside and they ran up and down the walkway in front of their house. Took Jacob's hat home to show Daddy. He wore it for awhile at home too. We walked over to see the goats/sheep. The new kitty followed us over there. We were all in the paddock and she came in too. We watched her rub her head on the electric fense. Luckely she got no shock because of the long pause between shocks. Jacob sat on both tractors pretending to drive. Then we went over to play on the slide. After going down the smaller slide several time, Jacob and Daddy went down the curley slide together a couple times. Jacob was smiling big at the bottom. Then he went over to play on his truck. Tonight we were going through animal sounds and I asked Jacob, "what does a lion say", he made a little squeak sound with his mouth closed every time I asked him this. He asked for the phone and walked around the house pretending to talk on it.

After giving Jared and I our huggs this morning Jacob wanted his 3 tractors. He fell asleep on the way to Mel's this morning. After work when I got to Mel's, Jacob was laying on the floor with Hailey watching Barney. He saw me and smiled. Then he rolled over and sat up to say hi. I looked at pictures Mel had developed and Jacob kept coming over to give me huggs. Max crawled over and almost bite my knee. I said, "Don't bite my knee Max" and I pulled my knee back. Jacob then bent over and pretended he was going to bite my knee. I pulled my knee back and Jacob smiled. He pretended to do it a couple more time.

This morning Jacob slept in til 8:3oam. Jared and I got up and started cracking eggs for deviled eggs. Today is our family reunion. It is very cold and windy outside. When we got there we took the Jacob and Hailey to play on the playground. Then it was time to eat. There was lots of food. Jacob loved his hot dog. I was happy to finally meet my cousins baby - Molly Jo, who is 5 months old. She is a cutie. After dinner we took the kids back over to the playground.

They had so much fun sliding down the slide with rollers. I think the adults had just as much fun. Jacob even went down himself a couple times. Then he wanted to go down on his belly. The people who weren't playing were really cold so they decided to go to my parents house. We played for a little while longer and then headed over. Jacob took his first nap for the day after 3pm. He was very sleepy. When we got home Jacob was all snuggles with me. Jared chopped me some ice which Jacob and I shared.

This morning Jacob woke up around 5am but he fell back asleep shortly. Then he slept til 7am. I brought him in bed with us and he lay between us for a while. He scooted as close as he could to me. After Jacob had his bowl of cheerios we stopped in town for muffins and donuts. Jacob got his own donut hole. We were going to the auction where I bought Celeste. We first walked by the tractors. Jacob wanted me to hold him as we walked by. We were looking for something to hold a ton of corn our neighbor is going to sell us. We wanted to buy a gravity wagon but they sold for more than we were willing to pay. We will find a way to store it or buy less corn at a time. Our neighbor wants to store some of his equipment in our barn in trade for free corn. Jacob took a short nap in the stroller while we watched some equipment sell. When he woke up it was time for lunch. We went to the car and ate the lunches I had packed. Jacob sat on the grass with us and ate his sandwich like a big boy. I put on his harness and he walked around. We went over and watched the horse race that was going on. Them horses flew by us so fast - it was cool to watch. Then we went and got some homemade ice cream. It was very good and Jacob loved it too. We sat by the last gravity wagon and waited til the auctioneer came around. Jacob was climbing on it. We left around 3pm. Jacob fell asleep on the drive home. He stayed asleep as I lay him in his crib at home. We had leftover pizza for dinner. Then we went to meijer and to the mall. We took Jacob to play in the middle of the mall. There were lots of other kids there. Jacob was crawling through the race car and a little older kid came crawling over top of him. Then the kid plopped on top of him and Jacob just lay there as I hurried over to him. The other kids Mom came and pulled him off. Jacob stood up and went over to play with the big toothbrush. He was trying to climb on top of it and another little boy came over and pushed his hands off of it. He didn't want Jacob to touch it. Jacob would put his hands up and the little boy would push them off. Then Jacob just looked at him. The other kid ran off and Daddy helped Jacob up. He really had so much fun and we had fun watching him. At home Jacob went over to the cubbard to ask for a snack. I gave him some fish crackers in a bowl and he sat down with them. I got him a drink and told him to come out to the living room. He picked up his bowl and brought it over to the sheep rug and sat there. Daddy chased him up and down the hall and he ran over to Mommy to save him. Then it was time for a bath. After his bath I got him out and grabbed the towel to wrap it around him. He just wanted to hugg me. He didn't want me to let go so we sat there and cuddled for a bit. Then he brushed his teeth and I combed his hair. He ran down the hall to say hi to Aunt Vikki, handed me the phone back and ran back to Daddy.

This morning we were sitting on the floor in Jacob's room getting him dressed. Truman came in and was sniffing his face. Jacob sniffed back. I asked Jacob, "whats Truman do?" and he sniffed. Any time we'd ask him he do the same thing. I took Kenzie to school this morning. She talked to me the whole way. Told me she was going to find lots of crickets today to feed their praying mantess. She said they were learning about insects. It was fun taking her to school and I hope I get to do it again soon. Mom called and asked if I was going to be getting out of work early. She was taking my Grandpa to a doctors appt and just was wondering. Joni said I could leave at 1pm. Jared called and said the guys were coming over to install the corn burner. I picked up Jacob at Mom's and headed home. Jacob was so excited to see the big truck in our driveway. He kept pointing and saying, "Truck, truck, truck, truck". It is installed and we really like it alot. We still have to put a gate around it so no little fingers touch it. Jacob's doing really good staying back. He would point at it and run around the room being silly. We went to TSC and meijer. Got a pizza and picked up a movie. Got Baby einstein - Seasons for Jacob and Pink panther with Steve Martin for us. We put Baby Einstein in when we got home. Jacob likes the puppets the best. I still haven't gotten rid of my cough. Before bed my cough gets worse. Tomorrow we are going to the Amish auction where I got Celeste. Should be fun!

This morning it was 38 degrees outside. There was frost on the windows of the Saturn. Got Jacob up and dressed and then he wanted to play with his tractors. Then we went out to the kitchen for breakfast. Jared went out to start his car so he could defrost the windows. The heater in his car wouldn't work. He shut it off and went to start my car. Then he tried his again - this time it worked. Had to put a warm jacket on Jacob and he looked so cute. When we got to Nana's it was time for her to leave and take Kenzie to school. I put Jacob right in her car. I called Jared around 1:45 cause he usually calls at 1pm. He said he just got back to work. He and the other guy there went to Ace hardware in the saturn to get some fittings for our tractor. He started the car when they left the hardware store and something under the steering wheel caught on fire. It smoked thick smoke for about 10 seconds. He decided to take the car home and trade for the truck. He noticed a wire was fried. After work Mom had Jacob all ready and I left right away. I had to get home cause we are going to look at corn burners. We ended up getting the one Jared had looked at the other day. It should pay for itself in the money we save within a couple years. Thats what we are going to use to heat the house. Jacob ran around from fireplace to fireplace touching each one. Tonight Daddy was chasing Jacob into the pink room where I was folding laundry. Jacob was laughing really hard and wanted to do it over and over. Later we went into his bedroom cause he wanted to throw his diaper away. Then he asked to play with his tractors. I got them down for him and he set them on top of the diaper disposal bin. He likes to play with them on the floor and then set them up there. He heard Daddy talking and ran towards the door holding his tractor out. I told him to keep the tractor in his room. He turned around and put the tractor back on the bin. Then he just stood there looking at me. I said, "Go ahead and show Daddy your tractor". He got a smile on his face and took it out to Daddy. Daddy came in the room with us. We ready some books and then he walked over to Truman and Kate to say goodnight. Then he ran down the hall to Daddy.

After work today I got to Mel's and Jacob was on the floor in the kitchen eating a snack. Hailey and Max came and wanted crackers too. Jacob's eyes got real big when he got a whole graham cracker. Max had some pieces in front of him that Jacob helped himself to. Then he put one in
in Max's mouth. On our way home we stopped at Walgreen pharmacy to pick up my prescription. I had stopped there over a week ago to pick it up but it wasn't ready yet. It had just been called in they said. When I got there today they said it wasn't called in. I told them I was there before and they said it was called in. She looked it up on the computer and found it. She said it would be ready in 20 min. I went to look around salvation army while waiting. The girls were happy to see Jacob. He waved goodbye and blew them kisses. Back at the pharmacy my prescription wasn't started yet. Another 15 minutes and it was ready. They were really nice and they seemed real busy. Jared was worried about us cause we were really late getting home. Jared was not feeling to well. I layed on the couch with him but Jacob got jealous. I lifted him up with us. He was happy and gave me huggs. Then he'd want down and right back up again. He ran around the house holding two flashlights. Daddy turned some of the lights off. Right now he is sitting in the hallway looking at the vaccination information given to me by his Dr. After reading before bed he ran over to Daddy to say night, night. Then he leaned over to Kate and then Truman saying goodnight. Back to Daddy for another hugg. Then he blew him a kiss on our way to his bedroom.

Jacob had cheerios and I had a pop tart this morning. Jacob was begging for bites of my pop tart. When I got to Mel's after work Jacob was running around the house with Hailey copying whatever she did. They were making goofy noises and being silly. On our way home we stopped at meijer for milk. When we got home Daddy was working outside on the tractor. He was pulling piled up dirt/manure away from the barn where the horses stalls are. It sure piles up in the winter when we throw the manure out of the stalls. It looked so nice. Jacob and I took a walk up to the sand on top of the hill. He saw all that sand and his eyes lite up. He played in it until Daddy came over with the tractor. Then he wanted to sit on it with him. We had spagetti for dinner. Jacob loved it and would say, "uh uh" for the next bites. He saw a book on the table and was saying, "book". Jared and I sat on the couch and watched, Deal or No Deal (or as Jared calls it, Greed or no Greed". Jacob came over and wanted to sit with us. Then he wanted a drink and walked around the house with it hanging from his mouth. Jacob was getting up from the ground and Daddy kept patting his butt so he couldn't stand up. Jacob was laughing really hard as he tried to stand up. It was funny.

This morning Daddy handed Jacob to me and I sat on the floor cuddling him. Then he stood up walked over to give Truman a hugg and came back on my lap. At Mel's he was so happy to see his green blankey. He hugged it, then dropped it on the floor and layed on it. Then hugged it again and layed on it. After work I trimmed Max and Jacob's bangs. When we got home Daddy had hand mowed alot of the front yard. Jacob was being silly on the porch in front of our house. Daddy and I were standing right off the porch. He was making silly noises and running in circles.

This morning I woke up to a big bang on my head. I looked up and saw blonde curls. Daddy had gotten up with Jacob and brought him in our bedroom. He layed his head on my head and cuddled with me. He would sit up but then lay right back down on me. I got up and we had cheerios for breakfast. Jacob was looking at his toys when Daddy called his name from the bedroom. Jacob immediately turned and went running down the hallway saying loudly, "Da Da", "Da Da". After church we got pizza and Jacob ate two whole pieces. Then he took a nap. Jared worked with the tractor on our driveway. I went outside and sat by the car and watched. Then I took a little nap until Jacob woke up. He was in such a happy mood which is so nice to see cause he was sick all last week. We sat on the couch together and he was full of smiles. Then we went to meijer for some groceries. While Daddy was waiting in line I took Jacob over to the horse for a ride. He loved it and his head went up and down. He hung on tight at first then put his hands in the air to show how brave he was. He had several rides and then I noticed a girl watching us. I said, "Are you waiting to ride" and she shook her head yes. I let her finish Jacob's ride and she was happy. Vikki called to say they had gotten a new puppy. It is called a puggle (pug/beagle cross). They named her Isabelle and call her Izzy. Vikki and Kenzie brought her over for us to see. She is ADORABLE. Truman loved her too. We played with her for awhile and then I trimmed Monica's (there other dog) toe nails and hair on her feet. I was so glad they brough her over for us to see. Then we went outside to look at our tractor. Vikki and Kenzie sat on it. Daddy read Jacob his story before bed and then I put him in his crib. He didn't want to let me go.

This morning we woke up and Kenzie was already awake with Truman. Jacob was awake too so Kenzie and I went in his room to get him up. He lay down on the floor in front of me so I could change his diaper. He always does a circle and ends up with his head in between my legs and I have to turn him around. We had cheerios for breakfast. Jacob was happy to see Kenzie was at the table. We had to be at Mom's at 9am and it was very foagy out this morning. On our way we took a part back to TSC for exchange. Made it to Mom's at 8:40am. We waited til Vikki got there to pick up Kenzie and then we got in Mom and Dad's car. Jacob, Jared and I in the back seat. We were headed north about 2 1/2 hrs to a suprise party for my Aunt and Uncle's 35 wedding anniversary. My Dad was the best man in his wedding. We arrived at 11:30. Jacob was getting cranky towards the end of the trip and finally fell asleep about 10 minutes before we got there and had to wake him. The party was at my cousins house. She had two sets of twins under 4 years old. We had a lot of fun at the party. Jacob played on the kids playset and in the sandbox with Hailey. He loved to play with the steering wheel and walk across the bridge. Nana took him over to the slide and helped him climb up. Then he wanted to back down it on his belly. He was in a good mood regardless of how tired he was and I was thankful for that. It was hot outside in the sun. We had a really good lunch. Jacob sat at the table in his seat from his Grandma R. My cousin let us set the playpen up in one of their bedrooms and Max took a nap in there. On our way home I noticed we didn't have Jacob's green blankey. One of the twins had took it and then I forgot about it. We called Melissa on her cell cause they had left after us. She said the had it with them. We had a wonderful ride with my parents on the trip there and back. Jacob fell asleep quick and I took a little nap too. I woke up when they mentioned ice cream cones. I started reading the book I had started reading last weekend. Jared read and finished it on the trip there. I finished it on the way back. The book is called G.I. Joe and Lillie and its an excellent book. We stopped for ice cream and Jacob had just woke up. He got his own ice cream cone and sat on the picnic table to eat it. A group of motorcycles drove by and Jacob liked that. On our way home we stopped by our house I lived in from about 2 - 10 years old. I have many wonderful memories there. The house if for sale and no one lives there. We walked around and looked in the windows. This was so much fun for me. When we got back to their place Jacob walked up and down the driveway with his toy bus. Then we went inside and he ran to the fridge and held the door cause he wanted a drink. Stopped at meijer and home depot on the way home. At home Jacob had dinner and Jared went outside to work on the tractor. Vikki called and Jacob loved listening to her talk on the phone. He smiled and handed it back to me. A little later he wanted to talk to her again. I got Jacob ready for bed and lay him in his crib. He was not happy with the replacement blankey and threw it out of the crib. I hugged him and told him goodnight and left the room. He cried some but fell asleep quickly. I went back in the room to cover him up and he looked up and smiled. I heard Jared outside riding around on the tractor and I went outside too. I went back in and he came in shortly after me.
