Jacob making a little spot for his ladybug.
Watching his ladybug.
Climbing the apple tree.
Kenzie having fun in Uncle Jared's water boots.
I started exercising after Jared left for work. Soon after 7am Jacob came out and lay on the couch. Adam woke up at 8:00. We watched Curious George and Sid. After breakfast they boys took turns going down the slide. Jacob asked me to read the Grouchy Ladybug book. After Clifford was over we went outside. The weather was great. It was sunny, windy, and in the high 50's. Jacob went right to digging in the driveway using the snow shovel. Adam saw tiger and gave him lots of pets. Jacob found a ladybug in the sand. He made a little hold and put him in it. Adam wanted me to throw the Frisbee over and over. He’d had fun running to get it and kept coming back saying, “Gain Mommy.” Then Adam tried to climb the apple tree. Jacob saw him and ran over to climb too. He sure had a lot of fun climbing that little tree. The boys were digging in the garden and Jacob said, “Mommy you know that worm poop is good for seeds. I learned that in Sunday school." Most things he say he learned in Sunday school even when he didn't. That he learned when they were talking about composting on PBS. Jacob had fun kicking around the soccer ball. Adam trailed close behind him. Then Jacob said, “Mommy, I’m gonna go wake up my ladybug.” He found a leaf and said, “This is hims dinner. When him wakes up he can eat this.” I sat on the steps by the sand that Jacob was playing in. Adam brought over a long stick and sat next to me. Then he said, “Mommy bu-ale (buckle) up.” We pretended the stick was our seat belt. Jacob pretended the deck was his fire truck. It got really windy and Jacob thought his ladybug might blow away. He asked to go back inside and brought his ladybug in too. Once we got inside Jacob handed his ladybug to me and said, “Mommy you hold my friendly ladybug in case him don’t get lost.” I thought the thing was dead but he soon started crawling all over my hand. Jacob wanted to put leaves in the container with the ladybug. The boys enjoyed pancakes for lunch. After lunch they played with some note cards I gave each of them. Jacob said he was going to put letters on them. He asked me to write several people’s names on his card and then he wanted me to tell him who's names they were. Adam held Truman’s collar and took a walk around the house with him. Jared got out of work early. He picked up Kenzie from Nana’s and got home around 2pm. We ordered 200 chickens. We went outside. The boys took their boats out to the water. Kenzie had fun walking around in the water with Uncle Jared’s water boots on. At 3pm the kids came inside for a snack. We read some books and then I lay Adam down for a nap. Jacob and Kenzie went back outside. A neighbor girl came over to play with Kenzie. Jacob helped Daddy with the brush piles. I stayed inside to do a 30 minute run and then went out to join them. We got a big pile of brush ready for burning. Then I cleaned some of Sammy’s stall. Daddy gave Jacob and Kenzie a tractor ride in the cart. As Jacob, Kenzie, and I walked to play on the fort Jacob said, “I love my nation. I call the fort my nation.” We came back inside at 6pm. Adam had just woken up. After dinner Uncle Jared and Kenzie played Mario Kart. I lay on the floor to play by Adam. He ran to get a blanket and covered me up. Then he got me a pillow. He lay next to me but soon got up saying, “My pillow" and got one for himself. We played with the boat, some stacking toys, and a little frog. I packed lunches for our day out tomorrow and got the diaper bags packed. Were going to be getting our new sheep. Kenzie read Jacob his bedtime stories tonight. Daddy came to sit by Adam and I. He took Adam's nose and Adam said, "Pit-tit-out (spit it out)!" We had fun playing that game with each other. Daddy got up to go do something and Adam said, "Daddy, touch (couch)" as he pointed at the couch. He was happy when Daddy sat down to sing with us. The kids were in bed by 9pm.

200 chickens...all broilers or did you get some layers and the Polish rooster. If a Polish Rooster shows up on the farm I hope ET's is still down south. Or somebody's going to be in trouble.
The 200 we ordered today were just broilers. We are ordering 25 more broilers and 15 hens (including a few polish) from another company soon.
Chickens AND a Suffolk sheep! Wow! Wow! Wow! When will the draft horses be coming?
Love all the outside pictures. It sure was a nice day. Kenzie looks like she's having fun in the water with Uncle Jared's boots. That picture of Adam peeking over the railing is adorable.
Nice pictures of Kenzie in the water boots and also of the boys. I love the one of her and Jacob.
She sure has fun at your house. She is blessed to have such a wonderful aunt and uncle. I can see from the pictures of her and Jared that they have a special uncle/niece bond. God sure is good to our family.
