I finished my exercises just before Jacob woke up at 8:30. We cuddled on the couch together for a while. Adam woke up at 9am. During breakfast we watched Bob the Builder. The boys played with thei tool sets after breakfast. Adam came over to me holding a couple tools and said, “Water on, Mommy.” The boys played with their pieces of yarn. Jacob loves to tie things up with the yarn. He’s good at tying knots. He tied his yarn up to his ride on vehicles and said he made “two jumping things.” Then Jacob decided his pile of ride on vehicles would be a good fire. He asked for their fold up chairs saying he wanted to go camping. We sat around the fire and pretended to roast marshmallows. Adam went to play with Jacob’s wooden tool set but Jacob didn’t want to share with him. So Adam took me into the bedroom to get out the barn. He started to play with that and Jacob said, “Adam you want me to play with you?” Adam said, “No, Mine!” Jacob said, “Adam, you can play with my tools. Can I play with the barn too?” Adam said, “Uh huh.” They worked it out and sure played well together with both the tools and the barn. I did a little sewing on the table chair which had wripped seams in several spots. Jacob then decided to pack up some toys and played in his bedroom. He shut the door but kept coming out saying he was a “seller man solden (selling) candy.” Adam had fun playing with the Little People things. During lunch I said to the boys, “Daddy should be calling soon, yeah.” Jacob replied, “Good old Daddy.” This afternoon we went outside. Jacob asked to plant seeds in the pizza box. So we put dirt in it and he planted some bean seeds. He was very excited to water them using his water bottle. He also wanted to put a bean seed in a ziploc with a papertowl (like Daddy had meantioned to him the other day) but we were all out of ziplocs. The weather was nice. We took a walk down the road. Adam liked collecting rocks in his cup. At the end of our walk he sat in the grass by the road to look at his rocks. He noticed some dog poop, pointed at it and said, “Troom did it, gross!” The boys played on the deck and enjoyed eating Popsicles. I did a 30-minute run on the deck. The boys would join me running and it was so cute. Jacob washed his tonka truck with a wet wipe and said, “Aren’t this look clean?” Adam pointed at the propane tank on the grill and said, “Gas-o-eeen.” We came back inside around 2pm. After reading some books I tucked Adam in for a nap. Jacob rested while playing with his cars and automoblox. I worked on laundry. Adam got up around 4pm. I’m not sure he ever did go to sleep. Jacob made a large square out of several pieces of yarn. He and Adam danced in it. Then Jacob played on the computer at PBS kids. Adam and I pretended to eat at the table with the play foods and stacking toys. Jared came home around 5pm. The boys played with legos. We all went outside to take care of the animals. Jared held Clarence while I trimmed his hooves. Jacob and Adam had fun playing in the paddock. We came back inside for dinner. With a bucket on his head and a feather in his hand Jacob marched up and down the house making a tune. He asked us to sit down and watch his parade. As he passed by he threw us some candy. After Jacob was done Adam put the bucket on his head and copied Jacob. The boys played with their tools while I gave Jared a haircut. After their evening snack we all played the board game Toot and Puddle. Jacob got very upset because he did not win. They were tucked in bed by 9pm.

I like that picture of Jacob walking on the road. Cute outside pictures.
I seems like Adam's hair is getting thicker. What great pictures of time spent outside.
I had never heard of the game toot and puddle. Looks cute. What is the age on it? I will have to look at it when I come over.
