Watching Clifford.
We were all up around 8:30. Jacob asked to watch videos on the computer so the boys took turns watching videos on Nolan’s blog. The boys wanted their cheerios and milk separate again this morning. After Sesame Street was over Jacob asked to play with moon sand. We played with the moon sand until lunchtime. After lunch Adam found Daddy’s boots and tried them on. He’d walk around holding onto the shoelaces. Jacob went back to playing with the moon sand for a little while. Adam and I played doctor. Then Adam had fun putting coins into his pig bank. Jacob and Adam played with their ride-on vehicles. After fixing Adam’s big wheel tricycle, Jacob told Adam, “Have a nice day”. Adam said “Day”. Then Jacob said, “Mommy I taught him how to say, have a nice day”. I folded and put away laundry. Jacob liked helping me find matches for the socks. We made a tent by putting a sheet over the desk and chair. Jacob piled books under the chair and said it was his library. Adam and I would come to the library to use his book and then return them. Around 2:30 I lay Adam down for his nap. Jacob and I read some books and then he rested. We set up the little table in his bedroom and he played at it with his barn and money. When Daddy came home Jacob ran to hide behind the rocking chair. He helped Daddy cleaned out the corn burner. Adam woke up around 5:30. He was calling for Daddy but again said, “No, Mommy” when Daddy went to get him. We had chicken teriyaki, rice, and green beans for dinner. Jacob, who is usually a fussy eater, says he likes everything. He’s been trying everything and eating really well. He likes to tell us the things that he likes. Adam cleared his plate and asked for seconds and then thirds. After dinner I went out to take care of the animals, collect eggs, and fill up the corn buckets. By the time I came back inside it was almost time for Jared’s to start class. The boys and I watched a Baby Einstein video. When Jacob had to use the potty, Adam wanted to go too. He asked me to take off his pants and his diaper so he could stand by Jacob. Then he ran to Jacob’s room because he wanted to wear underware. The boys had fun dancing, doing summersaults, and getting dizzy. When Adam peed in his underware he came over to me saying, “Wet”. I got them in their pj’s and then they raced to see who could beat to the bathroom. Tonight the boys sat on the stool as they brushed their teeth. After they were done, they had fun scooting their butts off the stool onto the floor. They sure were laughing hard and wanted to do it over and over again. We tucked Adam in bed around 9pm. Jacob and I read some books and then we cuddled in the rocking chair until 9:30. Jared got done with his class around 10pm.

Another great day. I'm surprised that Jacob plays with moon sand so long. It must be magical stuff. We have a BEAUTIFUL snow. The trees look like they have frosting all over them. Morning rush hr. should be interesting. Take care and know that you will have a great time with all your little children at church.
I just have to know how you keep the moon sand on the table? I tried something like that with Nolan, it was a disaster. He didn't want to play at all, he wanted to destroy. And awesome somersaults by the boys, very well done.
Great somersault videos Kimmy. Jacob and Adam you are sure good at doing somersaults and dancing. Nana loves watching videos of you. I love you both. xoxoxox
The moon sand pool (or a pan) helps the sand stay on the counter. Jacob has always been really neat and Adam learns from him. He see's Jacob scooping it into trucks and tractors or rolling it with the blocks, so thats what he wants to do.
I love the pictures with the headphones and boots too. Very cute.
