Adam came walking into our bedroom at 8:30 this morning. He had his hand on his head. I lifted him into our bed and asked him how he’d gotten out of his crib. He got off of the bed and wanted me to follow him to his bedroom. He pointed at Louie (his bear), which was in the front corner of his crib. He must have used him as a stool and climbed over and down. I handed him Louie and he lifted Louie onto the changing table. He wanted me to put a diaper on him. After that he ran with him back to our bedroom. This morning he had fun playing with the tricycle. He tipped it over like Jacob does and said, "pix it (fix it)". Then he asked to play with the plahdoh. Jacob slept in until 9:45. He also played with playdoh for a little while. They ate a late breakfast. It was very icy outside. Kate slipped going up the steps to our house. We headed to church at 10:30. The church parking lot was a sheet of ice. As we were getting the boys out of their car seats we noticed a lady fall as soon as she stepped out of her car. Jacob slowly walked in holding my hand. Daddy carried Adam. Adam couldn’t even stand up on the ice for a second. We got home from church at 1pm. Jared made an airplane that flies really good. I lay Adam down for a nap at 3pm. Jacob rested while playing with cars in his bedroom. I played with him for a while before leaving. Jared and I worked on cleaning out and organizing files and the computer desk. Lots more papers to burn. Adam woke up around 4pm. This evening Jacob and Daddy played with the barn and tractors at the counter. Jared left around 7:30 to get ice cream. I cleaned out the closet in the entrance room. I gave the boys paper bags and they had fun filling them with toys. The boys were tucked in around 9:15.

I'm guessing the mattress is on the lowest level too?? Wonder if Jacob showed him how to do that?

Yes, the mattress has been on the lowest level for awhile. He does learn a lot by watching Jacob, though Jacob has never climbed out of his crib.

Well at least he didn't fall and break his arm like Hailey did. I guess he'll be moving to a big bed soon? We were just talking about that and saying that Jacob was already in a big bed at this age. That's so funny. Adam totally seems like the type of kid that would try that too. Smart that he used his bear to get over too.

At this point the lowest level is the floor. Looks like the snow went away in the livingroom. Just to let you know...I'm saving all my closet and drawer straightening for the michigan housewife to do. Goodness...motivation to do that is out the door for me.

I figured Adam would be the grandchild that would climb out of his crib. He reminds me so much of Jared and I could just picture Jared little doing that.
