Jacob woke up crying at 2am. I found him standing in the hallway with puke all over his pj's. I got him cleaned up and changed the blankets on his bed. Then I took his temperature and gave him some tylenol. I got him a drink and tucked him in with a bucket by his bed. He said he was feeling better. I got up to do exercises on the Wii this morning and heard Jacob yell from his bedroom, "I feel better Mommy". I asked him if he wanted to lay in bed with Daddy and he said yes. He never did go back to sleep but lay there until around 8am. Adam woke up shortly after that. Jacob ate a few bites of cheerios for breakfast. He said he felt good and still wanted to go get drinks and donuts. We headed into town around 9:30. Jacob didn't eat much of his donut but drank his chocolate milk. We walked thru Salvation Army, Goodwill, and the Pet Store. As we were heading home Mom called. They got a Wii and a Wii Fit, so we headed over to their house to help them set it up. They hadn't gotten one of the controllers needed so Mom, Adam, and I went to meijer to get that. We got back and decided to move the bigger tv into their other room because there's more room for playing the games. As Mom and I moved a piece of furnature Adam grabbed hold of it and walked with us. He smiled at us and said, "Help". Then he wanted to move other pieces of furnature. He'd hold them and say, "Help". After getting it all set up Jared and Dad played a game of bowling. Jacob didn't want to eat his lunch. Adam ate great. Then Mom, Dad, Jared, and I played a game of bowling. Adam took a good nap this afternoon. Jacob had fun playing with Kenzie's moon sand. He liked me making eggs out of the sand. As he came to my store to buy some eggs he said, "Just a minute, I gotta go get my purse". We also had fun playing hide and seek. Vikki, Rody, and Kenzie arrived around 4pm. We spent the evening playing games and exercising on the Wii. Dinner was really good - thanks Mom. Jacob didn't eat anything for dinner. The boys had fun building with the large foam blocks. Jacob played with the cash register. When Adam wanted to play too. Jacob showed him the coins in his hand but told him he might choke. Nana brought up the ride on tricycles and they had fun playing with them. We headed home shortly after 9pm. Jacob fell asleep right away. Adam stayed awake on the drive. He was singing a song and it sounded so sweet. Jared's exercising right now.

Jacob getting some cuddles in with Nana.

This evening Adam would put his hands behind his head and them come over asking for some tickles. It was really funny.

Jacob and Daddy tickling Adam.

I started exercising on the Wii after Jared left for work. Jacob woke up around 8:15am. He said he didn’t feel good and wanted me to hold him. We cuddled in the chair until Adam woke up shortly after 9am. We watched Clifford and Sesame Street. Jacob didn’t even want to eat breakfast or crackers. He just wanted to lie on the couch and lay there until noon. He had a temperture so I gave him some Tylenol. For lunch he only wanted to eat bread and butter. He seemed to be feeling a little better. We played doctor. The boys asked for wet wipes so I gave them each one. They liked wiping all their toys and ride on vehicles. Jacob wanted to be held a lot. We sat on the couch and read books together. At 2:30 I lay Adam down for a nap. After some more reading I had Jacob lie down in his bedroom. He fell asleep within minutes. Both boys were still asleep when Jared got home at around 4:30. I prepared a meatloaf and then Jared helped me peel potatoes for dinner. Mom, Dad, and Grandpa arrived around 5:45. Dinner was ready, so we ate right away. We decided to let the boys eat dinner when they woke up. Adam woke up around 6:30 and ate his dinner. We had fun creating Mii characters for Grandpa, Mom, and Dad. After dinner Jared showed Mom and Dad how to bowl on the Wii. We opened Jacob’s bedroom door and to help him wake up. He lay awake in bed for a little while but said he was feeling better. He didn’t want to eat any dinner or even crackers. Mom, Dad, Jared, and I all bowled a game together. We had a great time! Dad and Jared then played tennis. Mom and I then played a game of tennis. I ended up hitting her with my controller – Sorry Mom. Jacob asked Nana to play Lincoln logs with him so they got them out. We had fun watching Jared and Dad boxing. Dad’s nunchuck (secondary controller) got away from him a couple times. We then showed them the Wii fit. We all got some great laughs watching Dad and Mom head butt soccer balls. It sure is much harder than it looks. Adam really likes sitting on the kitchen counter. I stood by him and he had fun watching from there. Mom and Dad found out their “Fit Age”. Don’t worry Mom, I won’t tell:) They headed home around 9pm. Jacob ate a couple crackers. We got the boys in their pj’s and then started their bedtime routines. They both fell asleep very quickly.

Watching Daddy exercise.

Jacob woke up to use the potty shortly after 6am. I realized the alarm hadn’t gone off so I woke Jared up. One of the boys must have turned the volume down for the music. After Jared left for work I started exercising with the Wii fit. It was fun and quite the workout. Jacob walked out of his bedroom around 8:30. He liked picking thing for me to do. His favorite was the hula-hoop game. Adam woke up around 9am. He watched me do a couple sking games and then we ate breakfast. After getting ready for the day we headed into town. First we went to Game Crazy. I had to return some thing for the Wii that we didn’t end up needing. Then we walked to Salvation Army which is next to Game Crazy. I also stopped at meijer for some coffee creamer. We got home around 12:30. After lunch the boys had fun dancing and pretending to sing in their microphones (straws). Adam had fun hiding his ball on me. He'd lay on it or run away with it. Around 2pm we read some books. Adam’s favorite book right now is the A Sesame Street Treasury. After I tucked Adam in for his nap Jacob and I read some books. He played with automoblox in his bedroom while resting today. I did some more exercising with the Wii fit. When Jacob was done resting he came out to watch. He liked holding my hand as we did the ski jump so he could “jump” with me. At around 4:30 Adam woke up. He and Jacob liked doing a the ski jumps with me. I gave them their own Wii boards. We had fun. After a couple games I turned it off and we played with Lincoln logs. As I was getting a snack for the boys Adam said, “bowl”. After he ate his snack he took the bowl and put it in the sink saying, “sink”. Jared came home around 5:15pm. Jacob wanted to pretend we were going to eat at “Olies”. We'd drive in his car and then all sit on the floor in the kitchen and eat our food. Then we’d drive back home. We played this a few time. Jacob helped Daddy clean out the corn burner. Adam took me to the kitchen, patted the floor and said, “Olies”. We played hide and seek until dinner was ready. When Jacob was the seeker and found us he'd say, “Hide somewhere else, ok!” After dinner Jared did some exercises with the wii. The boys liked watching the game. We made up Mii's (Wii people) for both the boys. During the game you'll see them running, throwing houla-hoops, or dancing. Jacob and I had fun hiding coins in our hand and guessing which hand it was in. Adam wanted to play too. I gave him a coin and he put both hands behind his back. Then he held them out for me to guess. The boys were tucked in bed by 9pm. Now I'm off to play Wii Sports with Jared. Maybe I'll whoop him in some boxing matches:)

Jared's sore thumbs. They bruised up quickly.

I woke the boys up at 7:45. I got them dressed and then we watched Curious George while eating breakfast. Soon after 8:30 we headed to church. It had snowed and was still snowing. When cars passed by it was whiteout conditions. We had a great time playing with the kids. Mugumi brought juice boxes for everyone during snacktime so the kids were all excited about that. Vikki surprised us and met us at Salvation Army. The boys (and me too) were very excited to see her. They ate their packed lunches. Then we headed over to Goodwill. I bought a 100 pc Lincoln log fort set for $2.50. And we also got the gas station that goes on their Little People car wash for just a quarter. We walked thru the pet store per Adam’s request. Then I had to go to the store to get mousetraps. (Jared saw a mouse by the corn burner this morning.) Today every time I opened the van door on Adam’s side he covered his face, with his hands or his blanket, to hide on me. I could only see his big smile as I said, “Where’s Adam?” We got home around 3pm. Jacob fell asleep in the car and continued sleeping on the couch. I lay Adam down for a nap. He talked for a while, but finally fell asleep. Jared got home around 5pm. Jared and I built a fort with the Lincoln logs. Jacob soon was awake and came down by us to see what we were doing. He ran to get a car to park inside. Adam woke up around 5:45. He had fun playing with the Lincoln logs and Little people car wash. I built some little house that they pretended were chicken coops. Jared worked on setting the mousetraps. One of them broke and he tried to fix it. He was trying to get a staple out of his hammer stapler and ended up stapling both of his thumbs – OUCH! The boy liked watching Daddy try to fix the broken mouse trap and then put peanut butter on the trap. After dinner Jacob played at the counter with some people and some origami things. Adam played with the little people things. Jared went outside to take care of the animals and shoot the opossum. Jacob and Adam made a train across the living room and pretended to drive it. Jared called game crazy to see if they’ve gotten the Wee fit in. It's very hard to find and they had just gotten one in. He left to get that and also bought the Wii. The boys played in the tub until pj time. They were tucked in bed by 9pm. Jared and I watched Lost and also set up the Wii. After Lost was over we had fun playing Wii sports. We went bowling, played tennis, baseball, boxing, and golfing. Then Jared tried out the Wii fit. We got to bed around 1am.

Watching Nolan's video's

Watching Clifford.

Moon sand.

In Daddy's boots.

Dr. Adam

Jacob's library

We were all up around 8:30. Jacob asked to watch videos on the computer so the boys took turns watching videos on Nolan’s blog. The boys wanted their cheerios and milk separate again this morning. After Sesame Street was over Jacob asked to play with moon sand. We played with the moon sand until lunchtime. After lunch Adam found Daddy’s boots and tried them on. He’d walk around holding onto the shoelaces. Jacob went back to playing with the moon sand for a little while. Adam and I played doctor. Then Adam had fun putting coins into his pig bank. Jacob and Adam played with their ride-on vehicles. After fixing Adam’s big wheel tricycle, Jacob told Adam, “Have a nice day”. Adam said “Day”. Then Jacob said, “Mommy I taught him how to say, have a nice day”. I folded and put away laundry. Jacob liked helping me find matches for the socks. We made a tent by putting a sheet over the desk and chair. Jacob piled books under the chair and said it was his library. Adam and I would come to the library to use his book and then return them. Around 2:30 I lay Adam down for his nap. Jacob and I read some books and then he rested. We set up the little table in his bedroom and he played at it with his barn and money. When Daddy came home Jacob ran to hide behind the rocking chair. He helped Daddy cleaned out the corn burner. Adam woke up around 5:30. He was calling for Daddy but again said, “No, Mommy” when Daddy went to get him. We had chicken teriyaki, rice, and green beans for dinner. Jacob, who is usually a fussy eater, says he likes everything. He’s been trying everything and eating really well. He likes to tell us the things that he likes. Adam cleared his plate and asked for seconds and then thirds. After dinner I went out to take care of the animals, collect eggs, and fill up the corn buckets. By the time I came back inside it was almost time for Jared’s to start class. The boys and I watched a Baby Einstein video. When Jacob had to use the potty, Adam wanted to go too. He asked me to take off his pants and his diaper so he could stand by Jacob. Then he ran to Jacob’s room because he wanted to wear underware. The boys had fun dancing, doing summersaults, and getting dizzy. When Adam peed in his underware he came over to me saying, “Wet”. I got them in their pj’s and then they raced to see who could beat to the bathroom. Tonight the boys sat on the stool as they brushed their teeth. After they were done, they had fun scooting their butts off the stool onto the floor. They sure were laughing hard and wanted to do it over and over again. We tucked Adam in bed around 9pm. Jacob and I read some books and then we cuddled in the rocking chair until 9:30. Jared got done with his class around 10pm.

Typing on their comptur.

Adam woke up around 8:30. I listened to his talking for a while before going in to get him. He and I had fun playing doctor. Jacob slept in until 9:30. The boys wanted their cheerios and milk separate today. They sat on the couch eating their cheerios and watching Clifford. Adam was dancing really funny and acting silly during some music on Sesame Street. After that was over I cleaned the fish tank. The boys liked watching me vacuum some fish water into a bucket. They also liked moving around the magnetic cleaner to clean the sides of the tank. They had fun taking turns. Jacob and Adam built a house out of cars and toys and then invited me to come in. They were pretending my picture frame was their computer. It was a wedding picture of Jared and I. Adam pointed at Daddy saying, “Daddy”. Then Jacob said, “And there’s Mommy”. I told them it was a picture of the day we got married. Jacob thought and then said, “Where was I?” I got a piece of cardboard for the boys to decorate and use as a computer. Jacob set up the slide on the couch and they had fun racing their cars down it. After lunch we played with matchobx cars. I lay Adam down for his nap around 2:30. Jacob rested while playing with his barn in his bedroom. After he was done resting he set the little green chairs up at the doorway to his bedroom. He was holding some of his barn fence pieces up by his mouth while making some musical sounds. He told me he was playing a “float (flute)”. I asked him if I could play too so he gave me some fence pieces. Then he held the pieces facing out and said it was a trumpet. We had fun pretending to march in a parade while playing our instruments. Jared got home around 5pm. He had stopped for gas and also got me a cappuccino. Adam soon was awake. When I opened the door to his bedroom he said, "Daddy?" Daddy quickly came in to get him, but as he went to pick him up he said, "No, Mommy". Adam sat under the desk and pretended he was driving a train. Jacob quickly joined him. After dinner I went outside to take care of the animals. When I came back inside I found the boys playing in Adam’s bedroom. I sat down to play with them. Soon Jacob left the room and Adam went to play with his Little People and barn. Adam likes to take the people (or cars) and walk (or drive) them over towards whatever were holding. Then he says “hi”. We laugh because it sounds exactly Jacob. Jacob came back to play with us. As he sat down he said, "I'm part of the family". Daddy and the boys were looking at the Sesame Street book and on one of the pages is a cactus. Adam would tough it and say, “Ouch!” Then he’d show me his finger and say, “hurt”. This evening I did some laundry and re-organized some of the kitchen cupboards. The boys were tucked in bed by 9pm. Jared and I wanted another very tense episode of 24.
