On my way home last night I got a coffee from the gas station. I shouldn't have drank coffee so late because it was 12:30 before I finally lay down in bed and another two hours before I was able to fall asleep. Jacob came into the bedroom just after I fell asleep and had to go potty. Adam woke up at 4am. I check on him to make sure he was ok and I gave him his blanket, telling him it was time to go night night. I went back to our bedroom and was going to give him 30 min before checking on him again but he fell asleep rather quickly and slept until 6am. We took Jared to work this morning and then headed over to my parents house. Dad was there and the boys were happy to see him. We had breakfast and then watched Curious George. Mom called from Grandpa's house and asked if we wanted to go with them to buy garden plants from a greenhouse. I got the boys dressed and then headed over to Grandpa's house. We followed behind them in our car and got stopped by a train. I've been wanting to get stopped by a train because I knew Jacob would really like it. I rolled down the windows so we could hear it. He kept saying, "dat a long train, it goes on a train track, dat really cool". At the greenhouse Jacob liked riding in the wagon. We got our plants for the garden and then took them to the car. Grandpa stayed by the boys so he could rest while Mom and I went back in to get a few flowers for our pots. Grandpa said he stood by Adam to block out the sun. We took Grandpa back home. Mom, the boys and I went to Sam's club to walk around and order Adam's birthday cake. We got to try lots of yummy samples. We took the boys to have lunch and play at McDonalds. Vikki came there also and as we were leaving Dad showed up. He told us about some garage sales by where my Mom went to school so we headed over there to check them out. Mom forgot at thought Vikki was picking Kenzie up from school until we got a call at 3pm from Kenzie's friend asking if we were coming to pick her up. We hurried to her school. Kenzie ran to the car and went she got in she laughed and said, "I can't believe you forgot about me". She asked if we could go to some garage sales, so I said if we passed one on our way back to Mom's we'd stop. We stopped at one and Mom found some good things there. Kenzie got a really nice schwinn bike, a purse, wallet and some sunglasses so she was excited. Back at Mom's Kenzie and Jacob sat on the couch and watched a cartoon. Mom, Adam and I went upstairs to look at some pictures of Mom's trip. We left and got to Jared's work around 4:30. Stopped at meijer for a few things before going home. Jacob had fallen asleep in the car and stayed asleep until almost 7pm. Jared and I planted the garden while Adam walked around the yard picking dandelions and finding sticks. He loves to walk up and down hills. After dinner I took the boys outside. Daddy had cut the front lawn and was putting grass in piles by the garden. Jared hooked the hose up to the lawn mower to clean it and then he and I spread the grass clippings in the rows of the garden to help keep down the weeds. We planted the flower pots on the back porch and then put them in spots around the house.
