We got up around 8am. Got ready and left the house around 9:20 for an almost hour drive to my cousin's church. Today was her church confirmation. The kids did good during the service. Afterward there was a lunch gathering for family and friends. Jacob asked if he could go play with Max. The kids played on the bleachers until eating time. Adam sat at the table with us. We left around 1:30 and headed over to Vikki's house to see Kenzie's new bird. We waited outside until they got there and Jacob picked me some dandelion's. Kenzie was so excited to show us her new bird. Jacob liked holding her on his finger and petting her. At a garage sale Vikki found Jacob a neat big lego motorcycle that you can take apart using a toy screw driver. He had fun playing with that. She also found 4 kids videos about dump trucks, airplanes, tractors, and bulldozers. We headed over to Mom's house. Jacob,Adam, and Kenzie played in the yard and on the swing set. Jacob, who has never really liked swings, now likes to swing on them with his belly on it. Adam picked a dandelion and tried to eat it. Jacob got Papa to go down the slide. Dad and Jared played some ping pong. We sat outside and drank our lemonade. It was a beautiful day, around 65 degrees and sunny. Kenzie really wanted to play some volleyball and talked us into staying to play. I'm sure am glad we did because it was lots of fun! Jacob played in the sandbox and used to play mower to mow the lawn. Adam played in the playpen that we set up outside. We girls need some practice because in one game it was Dad and Jared against Mom, Kenzie, Misty, Vikki and I and we still lost bad. Both boys fell asleep on the drive home. We made a stop at Home Depot and Lowe's to look at their lawn tractors. Jacob loves looking at the tractors. At home, while dinner was cooking, Jacob and I went outside to take care of the animals. We took a walk around the yard to look at the trees we had planted and the flowers. Kenzie called crying this evening and told us that their dog had killed her new bird - poor little girl. Jacob watched the dump truck movie and loved it. As he went to get into bed he said, "I love watching dump truck movie". I hope I can get Adam's new dance on video because it's so cute. He holds him one arm towards the floor and spins around in a circle.
