We headed to Mom's house around 6:30am. Dropped Jared off at work on the way. As we pulled into Mom's driveway Adam said, "Nana!" It was a rainy night and there were worms in the driveway. I handed a wiggly one to Jacob. He liked watching it squirm around in his hand. We headed over to Mel's house at 7:45. The boys were very excited when we got there. Jacob and Max right away started playing with the cars. I dressed the boys and gave them their breakfast. After eating breakfast Jacob went into Hailey's room and asked to play with her doll house. Mom and I drove to the church where my cousin is having her baby shower tomorrow. Aunt Vikki greeted us at the door. Mom and I had fun decorating our barn themed table. Then we walked around with Aunt Vikki and looked at the other decorated tables. On the drive home we stopped at Tim Horton's. We got to Mel's shortly before 11am. Mom, Jacob and I soon left to pick Hailey up from school. Hailey was helping clean up toys when we got there. Jacob went in and she said, "Hi Jacob" as she took his hand. He followed her around as she finished cleaning up and got her coat on. He sat next to her as the kids gathered in a circle to talk and sing a goodbye song. Then all the kids gave the teacher a hug goodbye. Back at Mel's the boys had fun playing in the sandbox. Hailey had fun swinging. We got back to Mom's house around noon. She wasn't there yet as she had stopped at Grandpa's house. The boys and I played on Nana's swing set. Its was another beautiful day (mid 60's and sunny). Jacob wanted to hide when he saw Nana's car pull in the driveway. He then ran into the garage and said, "boo!" After lunch we took a drive to the cemetery. Mom wanted to take Grandma's flower basket home for the winter. The boys liked running around there. We stopped at the dollar store before going back to Mom's house. I lay Adam down for a nap but he refused to sleep. Lately he doesn't nap well out of his crib. Jacob watched Curious George. We went outside as it neared the time for Kenzie to arrive on the school bus. Around 4:30 we left to pick Jared up from work. Jacob fell asleep on the drive home. Adam looked exhausted but stayed awake. He kept calling, "Mommy, Daddy" because he wanted us to turn around and look at him. He liked when we smile at him as he dances. We let the hen out of their coop and collected 9 eggs. Jacob wanted me to hold him for awhile as he woke up. After dinner Daddy gave the boys rides on the tricycle. Jacob picked out some books and we read them together. Daddy had the boys laughing as he rolled around on the floor saying, "I'm a steam roller!" He even rolled over Mommy. Jacob would get down on the floor and then run to the couch as Daddy got close to him. We played a little hide-and-seek in the dark before it was time to get the boys in their pj's. The tired boys were in bed early tonight.
