Birthday girl.

Playing with balloons.

Playing in the basement.

Watching Daddy fill up the burner.

Jared found Jacob lying in the hallway this morning. He was awake and asked Daddy for some ice in his water. He soon fell back to sleep. Both boys woke up around 8:30. After getting ready for the day we watched Clifford. Adam rode around on his Big Wheels and kept saying, “bead (speed) bump” as he’d bounce it. Jacob was grouchy this morning. He kept grabbing toys from Adam. Jacob ran with the exercise ball and rolled it right over Adam. Jacob had fun putting stickers onto paper. He found a butterfly sticker and ran over to put it on Adam’s hand. Then he found a couple stickers to put on each of my hands. Jacob talked to Daddy on the phone at lunchtime. As he was talking on the phone he came over to give me a hug (Daddy told him to). Around 1pm we went outside to collect eggs. Jacob loves to “race” to the coop. We then headed into town. Stopped at Goodwill. Jacob found a big truck to push around. We then went to Dunken Donuts. The boys got donuts and I got a muffin. Adam sat at the table like such a big boy. Jacob wanted to sit right next to Mommy. Before leaving we picked out a couple donuts for Kenzie (the birthday girl). I got a cappuccino to drink on the drive to Mom's. We got there around 3pm. The boys played with the large foam blocks. Around 3:30 I lay Adam down for a nap. Nana rubbed his head until he fell asleep. I took Jacob down stairs. He played while I rearranged the basement. Mom came down to help. We moved many things around and made a nice play area for the kids. Kenzie and Vikki got there at around 4pm. Kenzie shared some of her donut with Jacob. She and Vikki soon left to go to Chucky Cheese. I finished the basement shortly after 5pm. Jacob and I read a Clifford book. Adam was awake before we finished. Nana brought him to me. We left to pick Jared up from Mel’s house. He dropped the Geo off at Ken’s house to be worked on. Jacob fell asleep on the drive there. On our way back to Mom’s house we stopped in to check on Grandpa who is sick. He was lying in bed. I got him some Ginger Ale and we talked to him for a little while. He said he was glad we stopped by. Mom and Dad had left but Vikki and Kenzie were there when we got back to Mom’s house. Jacob continued sleeping on the couch. We ate dinner and had ice cream. Then Kenzie had to do lot of homework. Jared, Adam and I went down to the basement. We woke Jacob up shortly after 7pm. He didn’t want to eat so he sat at the table and colored by Kenzie. Adam colored for a short time and then he got down to play with the balloons. We took the boys to the basement to play. Jacob didn’t eat his dinner until around 8pm. We headed home around 8:45. As we drove on the express way Jacob was really excited to go under the "tunnels (bridges)". He'd see one coming and say, "you gotta turn your head!" He liked looking to the right and seeing the side of the bridge as we drove fast under it. We checked on the chickens and fed the animals when we got home.
