Boys admiring their stockings.
Bruce dropped Max off around 7:30am. Max loved seeing the tree lights and window lights. He smiled and asked if he could play with the Little People Nativity. Then he rode around on the tractor pulling his blanket in the cart behind him. He lined up the ride on vehicles saying they needed to be fixed. Then he’d push each one back and say, “dat one six’d (fixed)”. As I watched Max play he'd stop to look at me with a huge smile. He seemed so excited. Adam woke up at 8:30 and Jacob slept in until 9am. Adam and Jacob both were very excited when they saw Max. I set Max in the crib with Adam and he jumped up and down. We watched Clifford and part of Sesame Street. Jacob thought something on Sesame Street was scary so he turned it off. I got out the moon sand and playdoh. Jacob and Max played with moon sand at the counter while Adam and I played at the little table with the playdoh. I then went over to play with the boys at the counter. When I looked over at Adam he'd given Truman a piece of playdoh. Truman chewed on it and then spit it back out. Jacob and Max played with the moon sand until it was time for lunch. I used the steamer to clean the stove. Adam asked to play with my headlamp and he liked shinning it on the door. When it was time to eat Adam climbed up to the table at lunchtime, smiled, and said, “please”. He wanted to sit at the table with the boys. I told him he could sit there but if he got down I was going to put him in the highchair. He sat there until he was finished eating. After lunch we went outside until close to 2pm. Jacob let the chickens out of the coop and collected eggs. The boys laughed as I threw snowballs at them. Then they had fun chasing me with their snowballs. We took a walk threw the woods which was lots of fun. When we came back inside I got Adam and Max tucked in for their naps. Jacob played with moon sand while resting. Max and Adam woke up around 4pm. Max and Jacob played with moon sand until Bruce came around 4:45. We got about 4 inches of snow today. Jared got home around 5:45pm. During dinner Jacob asked for some ketsup. I put a little on his plate and he said, “No, I want a lot”. Of course then Adam wanted some. I put a little on his plate and he said, “A lot!” After dinner we went outside to take care of the animals and play in the snow. We made a snowman. When I asked Jacob to help me push to make a big snowball, Adam quickly came to help saying, “Me me (Me too), Me me”. Daddy made the snowman’s head and we put sticks in for the arms. We went back inside at around 7pm. Jared had class this evening until 10pm. The boys and I had fun playing “doctor”. Adam was playing with his cars at the little table when Jacob came by him. Quickly Adam gave all his cars a hug as he said, “Mine!” Jacob talked him into sharing a couple. Then Jacob set up their soft chairs in the hallway and asked Adam to sit in his. They then had fun playing in Adam’s dark bedroom. I let them play in there for a little bit together before going in. They were really excited when I came in. Adam found me and gave me hugs saying, “Hi Mommy”. We then got out the blocks to play with. Jacob made up a game and wanted me to play it with him. He pushed a pile of blocks over by Adam so that Adam would play with them and not mess up what we were doing. Adam pulled a chair up by Jacob’s Christmas stocking to admire it. Jacob pointed Adam over to his stocking saying, “Adam your stockings right there” as he pulled over another chair. I thought it was cute how they just sat there looking at their stockings. After tucking Adam in bed Jacob and I read some books together. Then we cuddled in the rocking chair while we talked about our day and sang songs.

The snow is beautiful, beautiful. The walk through the woods is beautiful. It's wonderful that the boys and their mother spend a little time outdoors. Do the chickens come out when there is snow? All 8 stockings are hanging at the windows in our livingroom. Two to a window. Kat said there is no more room for more stockings. Great pictures.
Wow you found something that Truman WONT eat..playdough!
Crazy dog...socks gooood...playdough baaaad
Almost time to get the turkeys off the windows. Green paper hands make terrific wreaths. Give it a try. Mr. Safety and his blue tape. Was there blue tape around the bar stool that said...JB Safety...here is your spot to stand on. Don't think so. I get the feeling that we all must be on our best behavior in Georgia. Yikes. Something to look forward to...maybe. The pancake mix is packed. That's somoething to look forward to for sure.
HAVE FUN ON YOUR TRIP!!! We'll miss you. Love ya.
I love all the snow pictures. So pretty in the woods. Max sure is smiling big in all the pictures. He sure was excited.
Great pictures. I love the ones of the boys in the snow. The one of Max in his red coat and the red chicken coop in the background is really neat. Love you and will miss you all. Say hi to everyone for us.
