Adam woke up at 8am. After getting Adam dressed we went into Jacob’s bedroom to wake him up. We sang Happy Birthday to Truman. He turned 7 years old today. We left around 8:45 and headed to church. Besides my boys, there were only 2 other kids in class today. Jacob had lots of fun playing with Mugumi. They piled many big toys into the middle of the room and stacked up some chairs. Jacob said they were building the tower of Babel. We left at around 11:45. We ate a packed lunch. Then we walked thru Salvation Army. After that we went to Tim Horton’s for a cappuccino and TimBits. We took the van to Valvoline for an oil change. Jacob was really excited about that. We left there around 2pm. Headed over to the grain elevator to pick up layer mesh and oyster shells for the chickens. Adam looked at the bunnies in cages and said, “Meow!” Then he pointed at the dear head’s hanging on the wall and said, “Hi Ausey (horsey)”. Jacob loves riding in the front seat as we drive across the driveway to pick up the bags. He got out to watch as they loaded the bags into our van. We went to meijer for groceries. First we walked thru the toys rows. Then we walked over by all the lit up Christmas trees. As Jacob walked around there Adam said, “uh huh, uh huh!” He was riding in the cart and wanted down to walk around. Jacob liked helping me find thing from the grocery list and loading them into the cart. He said, “You load the big things and I load the little things, that a good idea?” We didn’t leave there until almost 4pm. Before leaving the boys always ask to sit in the truck carts. They enjoy pretended to drive. As we left meijer parking lot Jacob saw the Dodge dealership and asked to drive by the crashed cars. We often drive behind their building to look at (show the boys) the cars that have been in crashes. We got home around 4:15. I lay Adam down for a late nap. As I stood by his crib he threw his head back like I wasn’t getting him into his crib fast enough. I put away groceries. Jared came home around 5pm. He gave Truman his birthday present (a nylabone). Truman was a very happy “puppy” and chew on it most of the evening (unless Kate stole it from him). We went outside to collect eggs (we got 11 eggs today) and fed the animals. Jacob carried some hay into Nutmegs stall and then he fed the cats. Back inside Jacob played with cars at the counter. I sat next to him and started to write on the backs of my pile of 200 pictures. I woke Adam up just before dinner was ready. Jared folded laundry and I put it away. Jacob collected things throughout the house and put them in his tractor cart. He said he was grocery shopping. Then he set up a little store in the hallway and asked me if I wanted to buy anything. I bought a book for $22. I handed him some money and he said, “tank you, here’s your change”. Jacob asked to play hide-n-seek in the dark so we had fun playing that until “pj time”.
