Adam LOVES his bear "Louie". He likes to point out his eyes, ears, and nose. Here he is saying, "eye".
Adam is unhappy because Jacob just kicked his ball away.
Cute smile.
Watching the goats and sheep.
Jacob loves to catch the chickens.

This morning Jacob and I cuddled on the couch as we watched Curious George. Adam woke up soon after it was over. Jacob requested pancakes for breakfast. He liked helping me mix the ingredients. The boys wanted both peanut butter and syrup on their pancakes. After breakfast we watched Clifford. The n the boys played with the Little People car wash and their matchbox cars. Well, Jacob has like 30 cars and Adam has 4. Jacob will share his cars but only the ones he chooses to give to Adam. They weren’t getting along. Adam kept taking the jeep (which Jacob also wanted) and quickly hiding it under his legs. I let them each pick out 2 of their cars. They played much better with fewer cars. Jacob spread out his blanket at the couch and we played together on it. Adam came over and wanted to play too. Jacob said, “you can’t play on my bwa-bee (blankey) Adam”. So he ran to get Adam’s blanket and spread it out next to his. Adam was happy pushing his cars around on his blanket. After lunch we went outside. The boys took out some balls to kick around. Jacob had the most fun catching chickens. We came back inside at snack time. I read to the boys and then lay Adam down for a nap at around 2:30. Then Jacob and I read some (3 because he's 3 years old) books together. We then played with the foam blocks and cars. Jacob continued playing at the little table while he rested. Then we went outside. Daddy came home around 4:30. When Jacob saw him drive into the driveway he ran as fast as he could to hide in the fort. He sure squirmed and giggled as Daddy came to find us. We had fun kicking around the soccer ball, playing “tag your it”, and hiding on Daddy. We just put our egg sign back out and our neighbor stopped by to ask how many dozen we had left because she wanted to buy them all. She said we don't need to put the sign up, just bring them to her and she'll buy all we have. She told us over and over how much she loved our eggs and they reminded her of her Mom's eggs growing up. We were interested to here that her Dad originally owned all the land around us and put in our road. She's lived here for 36 years. Anyway she said we don't charge enough for our eggs and even gave us a tip. I asked Jacob if he wanted to come with me to say hi to our neighbor. He said, “No, cause I shy” as he hid behind my back. Jacob drove his tractor and I was driving a dump truck. We were making truck sounds as we “drove” around. Then Daddy started talking to me about something. Jacob looked at me and said, “Mommy, turn your sound on”. Back inside Daddy and Jacob played the matching game. Daddy and the boys played in the fire truck playhut with the tunnel attached, while I got dinner ready. After dinner we headed into town. We went to Lowe’s, the Mall and Target, and then Walmart. In the mall we went to Barnes and Noble so the boys could play on the train table. Adam could hardly wait to get out of the stroller as he said, “choo choo, choo choo”. They played with the trains and then Jacob found a book for me to read to him. We got home around 9:30. As I sang with Adam this evening, he held "Louie" and moved his arms making him dance.

How about a picture with all the chickens. You could add a boy or two. I don't recall ever having a pet chicken. We just had chickens. Your outdoor pictures are the best. It would appear that the boys and you have a LONG recess every day. Good fresh air I would say. We went to Kat/Eric's house for a birthday celebration. Andrew is a real entertainer. Thanksgiving should be really something with all three little guys.

I am glad that you have made connections with your neighbor who has lived there so long. It will be neat to hear the stories of all that has happened on that piece of land. Now the boys will get even more of a sense of the past. And so will their parents.
