Hugs and kisses for Truman.

Kisses for the horse before putting it in the dump truck to push around.

Here is a picture I found of Jacob taken a couple weeks ago.

Jacob woke up at 7am. He lay down in bed next to me and played with some cars. Adam woke up around 8am. After picking him up from his crib he always points towards the doorway and says, “out?” We watched Curious George before eating breakfast. I got out the playskool soft cars and they boys had fun playing with them. Adam pushed a car over the bridge and said, "bridge". They liked filling up the tractor cart with cars and dumping them elsewhere. We sat on the couch and I read the bible to the boys. At the end of each story Jacob would ask me to read another. Then we colored at the little table using the boys jumbo crayons. I started organizing a large pile of pictures I found. I gave the blurry pictures to the boys. Jacob wanted to read “Green eggs and Ham” and “The Bears' Christmas” so we read those books. Around 1pm we went outside. What a beautiful day. It was mid 60’s and sunny. We took a walk in the woods. Jacob found the same stick he had carried before, his "cutter/digger stick". Adam didn’t want to walk and also didn’t want to be carried. The boys had fun playing on the gravity wagon. Jacob liked walking up the hitch bar and hanging from the ladder. Adam put his legs over the bar and walked as far up as he could. He wanted a turn hanging from the ladder. Then we drove our “cars” over to visit the horses. We went into Sammy’s stall and gave him lots of pets. The boys liked petting and feeding Nutmeg under her stall door. They sat on the barn floor right by her head. We went back inside at snack time. I lay Adam down for a nap around 2:30. Jacob and I read the bible. Then we played with foam blocks. Jacob continued playing with his blocks and cars while he rested. I did some laundry. Jacob and I played with his tow truck. My car needed to be fixed so he towed it to the auto shop. When he brought it back he told me it wasn't broke and that it just needed some oil. When I asked him what color my imaginary car was he said, "green, yellow,...and pink, thats for girls. Green is for big boys". Adam woke up at 5:00. He had bare feet and said, “tock, tock” as he put his head up against the crib in the two spots where he’d thrown out his socks. We went outside. Jacob loves to race. Then we played “tag your it”. We climbed up into the fort and Jacob made me Mac-n-cheese. Jared picked Kenzie up and she is staying with us tonight. Jacob was so excited when I told him Kenzie was staying with us tonight. He jumped up and down saying, “I’m REAL-EE excited!” over and over. Then he touched his toes and said, “I'm REAL-EE excited from here all the way up to here” and he reached up over his head. He asked me to jump up and down with him. The kids had fun trying to catch chickens. Kenzie named a few more chickens. After dinner Kenzie took a bath to play with the foam blocks in the water. Daddy and the boys got some playtime in before Daddy ‘s class started. This evening Kenzie brought in several different chickens one at a time. The kids tried to get the chickens to eat bread from their hands but not of them would. Each time Kenzie switched chickens we’d step out the front door and watch her run to the coop. Jacob was excited to run with her the last time. Adam saw Jacob going with Kenzie and he said, “me, me!” I carried him out to the coop. He likes to look at the moon and stars. I wrote on and organized some more pictures this evening. Kenzie is such a great helper. After I got the boys in their pj’s she took them down to brush their teeth without me even asking. Then we all raced to beat the timer and picked up toys. Jacob said, “I’m gonna beat that timer!” As I read to Adam, Kenzie read to Jacob. Adam likes the book, "A Very Busy Spider". On the last page he pointed at the stars and said, "star". I tucked him in bed. Then I read the Bible to Jacob and tucked him in bed. All the kids fell asleep so quickly.

Thanks for telling about the Lucy episodes.

How about a deal? Instead of telling about all the episodes you watch, just tell about the bit that scored highest on the Kimmy laugh-ometer. That will keep this old-time Lucy watcher in touch with the good moments and will not be as tiring for you to write.
