The boys climbed on the couch and Jacob said he was reading to Adam.

This is a picture of Jacob at bell practice.

The alarm went off at 7:45am. Adam woke up around 8am. After getting him dressed we went to wake up Jacob. After breakfast and taking care of the animals we headed into town. Got to the church at around 9:15. It had snowed during the night so the roads were a little slick. The was only one other girl in class today (today was the last day until January). She and Jacob had lots of fun playing together. We left the church around 11:30. Ate a packed lunch and then walked thru Salvation Army. Stopped at Tim Hortons on the way to Mom's house. When we walked in the door at Mom's house Adam sat down and said, "shoes" wanting me to take off his shoes. Jacob and Kenzie played with Moon Sand. Soon Mom and Kenzie had to leave for a conferance at Kenzie's school. I lay Adam down for a nap but he refused to take one. Jacob and I played with playdoh. Soon Kenzie and Mom were back. Mom went in with Adam and he fell asleep quickly for her. Jacob and Kenzie played with playdoh. I heard Jacob tell Kenzie, "Daddy's on a airplane, he doesn't stop at lights and can fly right over buildings!" Adam did sleep for very long. The kids ate an early dinner. We headed to our church for Jacob to attend handbell practice. They told us we could come back and pick him up at 6:30. We went to the $ store, goodwill, and the pet store. Kenzie bought a tractor and a dump truck for Jacob at goodwill. She also enjoyed holding the ferrit at the pet store. Adam walked up and down by the cages and looked at the bunnies, hamsters, birds, and ferrits. He liked petting the ferrit. We got back to church shortly after 6pm. We watched Jacob thru the window. When they shook the bells he'd cover his ears. He didn't like how loud they were. Maybe he'll be ready next year. When we got home the house was cold (57 degrees). I got the fire going. Kenzie put their sweatshirts in the dryer and after a while they got out their warm shirts to wear. We sat in the cold and ate ice cream. Kenzie gave Truman some birthday presents she'd bought for him. He sure enjoyed all the treats and toys. Then the kids had fun played with the aquadoodles. Kenzie brought a chicken inside. Adam found a chicken feather and tried to get it to stay on the chicken. They sure had fun with the chicken. Tonight Kenzie told me to do whatever I needed to and said that she'd take care of the boys. She took them down to the bathroom to brush their teeth. Then she read many books to Jacob. I tried to read to Adam but he didn't want to read tonight. Daddy called after the kids were tuck in bed. Jacob came walking down the hallway asking to talk to Daddy. He's not one who likes to talk on the phone, but he sure loves to talk to Daddy. I loved listening to his side of their conversation. Then he said, "I want you to talk to Kenzie" as he handed the phone to her.
