The boys woke up soon after 8am. We left around 9am for drinks and donuts. When right to Mom's house from there. Around 11:30 Mom, Vikki, Kenzie, Mel, Hailey, Jack and I left to head to my cousin's shower. Jared stayed at Mom's with the boys and Max. We helped Aunt Vikki get things ready for the shower. I forgot to bring my camera. Everything looked so beautiful. The shower started at 1:00. Mel, Vikki, and I took kids to another room to work on crafts. The young girls had fun decorating purses, picture frames, and door knob hangers. They each got a piece of paper and marked and x in the box for boy or girl (what they thought Kelly was having). Below that they drew a picture of a baby. Then the kids then had fun coloring until it was time to eat. As Aunt Vikki handed out gifts to the adults, we gave a gift to each of the kids. We watched Kelly open some gifts. Then we took the kids back to play a game. Mel and I had put little piles of candy throughout the room. We divided the kids into two teams (dogs and cats). Each team had a captain. The kids crawled around to find the piles. When they found a pile they'd meow/bark until their captain came to pick up the candy they'd found (only the captain's could touch the candy). After all the candy was found they dumped it onto the table to divide and put into bags. The kids sure seemed to enjoy this game. All the kids got to pick out a stuffed animal from the table. After the shower was over we stayed to help clean up. We stopped at Tim Horton's on the drive home. Got back to Mom's around 5:30. The boys were excited to open their gifts from Aunt Vikki. On the drive home we stopped at meijer for a couple things. Then we went out to dinner at Fazoli's. We got home around 8:30 and both boys had fallen asleep. Adam stayed asleep as Daddy lay him in his crib. Jacob woke up and wanted to brush his teeth. Then we read and did our nightly routine.

I would say that Michigan people know how to throw a shower. Another packed day full of fun stuff.

Clever games. Suppose I were a kid who wanted to be a cow? Could I still play? Would I be on my own team? Or would I have to join the dogs or cats? Are cows frightened of dogs?
