Trick or Treating at Grandpa's
Adam was coughing from 12:30-2am last night. We put the humidifier in his bedroom and that seemed to help. Kenzie and Jared left at around 6:30. I worked on organizing my picture files until the kids woke up. They woke up at 8am. Jacob started to cry and asked, “where Kenzie, I miss her”. We watched Curious George before eating breakfast. Truman puked up a sock this morning so I worked on getting the stain out of our carpet. We headed over to Mom’s house around 10am. I drove Mom to pick up Dad’s car, which was getting fixed. First we stopped at Baynes apple farm. Mom bought us all a large cookie. Then we let the boys play at the playground outside for a few minutes before leaving. It’s a beautiful day (high 60’s and sunny). We got back to Mom's around 11:30. Mom made chili for tonight. The boys had fun played with the dollhouse until lunch was ready. After lunch I took the boys to play in the basement. Jacob rode around the ping-pong table on the tricycle. He liked when I used a ping-pong paddle to play "red light/green light". The paddle was red on one side and green on the other. When he’d run the “red light” I’d make siren sounds and chase after him to give him a ticket. Adam had fun pushing around a doll in the stroller. He’d bring her over for me to hold. I’d give her a hug and then he’d pat the stroller seat asking me to put her back in. Then we went to BabiesRUs to look for a baby gift for my cousin. We got back around 3pm. I lay Adam down for a nap but he never fell asleep. Jacob rested on the couch and played with his cars. He was really excited when Kenzie got home from school. Jared got there soon after that. We left at 4:45 and headed over to Grandpa’s house. Put the boys in the costumes so they could Trick or Treat there. Grandpa liked seeing the kids in their costumes and gave them M&M’s. We tried to get a picture of the boys with Grandpa on the couch but the tired boys wouldn't cooperate. Mel and her family also came over. Nana gave each of the kids a ziplock bag of candy. Jacob and I played "store". He wanted me to pretend I was going to Tim Hortons. I ordered a capuccino and Tim Bits. I paied him for my order. When I went to take a drink he said, "wait say, can I get a sleeve". I laughed because we always have to ask for a sleeve when we get to the window. We got to Omi’s house around 6pm. Omi gave each of the kids a Halloween bag with jumbo crayon’s, a coloring book, a pencil, squeeze it juice, and some candy. Soon we started walking around the neighborhood. The kids were excited. I loved hearing them say Trick or Treat at the doors. Max liked to talk to the people handing out the candy. Adam would wait a few seconds at the door before he was ready to walk away. He didn’t have the patients to wait until it was his turn to get candy into his bag. He loved seeing all the lights at several houses. After about an hour the kids were ready to be done. We drove to Mel’s house and ate chili for a late dinner. The kids had fun playing together. The kids each ate a piece of candy. Mel and Hailey got some cute laughs from Jack. Before leaving we put the boys in their pj’s. The “num nums” came out to tickle the boys. Max and Adam ran to hide. We got home around 10pm. The boys fell asleep on the drive home. We lay them in bed, took care of the animals, and unloaded the van. Jared and I were tired and went to bed earlier than usual tonight.

Nice pictures! Can't believe Jacob told you to ask for a sleeve. Is he observant or what? Love ya
Love the pictures. I was going to say the same thing as mom about Jacob telling you to ask for the sleeve. He sure is observant. That is too funny.
