Here Jacob's skunk is spraying me.

Jacob pretending to be asleep.
Hiding from Mommy and the vacuum.

I got up to exercise at 6:30. The boys woke up around 8am. We watched Curious George. After breakfast Jacob and I sat on the couch and looked at my wedding pictures. He kept asking, “Where was I?” Jacob played with his barn, animals, and tractors at the counter while Adam played with the Little People barn and things on the floor. We watched Clifford and the first part of Sesame Street. Then Adam and I joined Jacob to play at the counter. I love the sounds Adam makes as he pushes around his vehicles. We had fun and played that until lunchtime. During lunch Truman was begging for Adam’s food as he usually does. Adam said, “Get back Trum!” I was vacuuming with my handvac and then I chased the boys with it. They thought it was very funny. The ran to hide under the table. We then had fun playing with the Little People things. At 2pm the boys ate their snack and then we read some books together. Both of them wanted me to read, "Where the Wild Things Are" several times. Lately after I finish reading a book Adam grabs it and says, "Me read." I lay Adam down for his nap. Jacob rested while playing with his cars and reading books to Truman. He also took pictures (all of Truman) and played a matching game on his camera. I did some running to the Wii. Jacob then had fun playing with his playdoh at the counter. Jared came home at 5pm. Jacob and I went outside to feed the animals. He made a little hole in the barn floor and called to the chickens saying, “Chickens come lay in your nest.” Since none of them came to him he caught one and tried to get her to stay in the “nest”. He had fun drawing in the dirt with a stick. He drew a big letter J and also drew a house with a door. Adam woke up at 5:30. We headed to a car dealership to look at some cars. It was a little after 6pm by the time we got there. So, while Jared went in to talk to someone, I drove across the street and got the boys some dinner at McDonald’s. The boys and I had fun together in the van. We sang lots of songs. Jacob made up a funny song about one of the “broken” trucks we’d seen. Then the boys sat in the front seat pretending to drive. We got home around 7:30. Jared and I ate dinner. Adam begged for bites of my food saying, “More bites please?” Jacob asked Daddy to play the Mario Kart game. Adam made driving sounds as he held the extra wheel. The boys were tucked in bed shortly after 9pm. Jared is doing some exercises with the Wii.

Hailey always asks the same thing when we look at our wedding pictures. I love the picture of the boys under the chairs.

The car dealer had a 3K push pull or drag speacial. I noticed a used car that was interesting so we decided to drive up at the last minute. If I can get 3K for the Metro as well as trade in the vibe I'd do it...but the car that was on the lot was sold by the time we got there...surprise surprise. So it was just a random car shopping night. Always have an eye out. I'd like a little manual tran. econo box 40mpg with a cheap payment to none at all. The 3K only applied to used vehicles on the lot and it was pretty slim pickings not to mention the prices seemed a tad inflated...again, surprise surprise.

Does the professional car buyer ever speak with a professional climatologist to figure out how the car will perform over the years with global warming?
