Smiles from Adam.

I got up to exercise at 6:30. Jacob woke up around 7:30 and went to lie in bed with Daddy. Daddy and the boys got up around 8am. The boys watched Curious George while they ate breakfast. We headed into town around 9am. Jared drove separately. We parked the Vibe at Salvation Army and then headed over to the ATM. Daddy pretended to be the “ATM lady” as usual. As we left the ATM Jacob said, “Bye, bye.” Then he said, “I said bye two times, I love that lady.” We went to Tim Horton’s and Dunken Donuts. Jacob asked for a chocolate frosted donut like Daddy gets. He shared a sprinkle with Adam. We looked around in Salvation Army until Jared had to leave at 10:45. Jared headed over to co-workers, Daren’s house. They are going to a hockey game of Daren’s x-wifes son who is 11 yrs old. Jacob cried when he realized that Daddy wasn’t going the same way as us. He stopped crying as we got near Goodwill. Then he said, “I wanna go see the animals first.” And Adam said, “An-mos first.” We walked around the Pet Store and then went to Goodwill. They loved petting the bunny that was hopping around the pet store. We got home around 12:30. After lunch they had fun playing with their pieces of yarn. Jacob tied his yarn from the ottoman to the tricycle. They had fun jumping over it. Adam would bend his knees and put his arms back like he was going to jump and then take one big step over. Around 2pm they ate a snack while we read some books. Adam napped from 2:30 until almost 6pm. Jacob rested in his bedroom. He played with his cars and read some books to Truman. Then Jacob and I had fun pretending we were camping. We packed our bags (wrapped books in a blanket) and Jacob reminded me to bring my camera. First Jacob wanted to walk around looking for animals. He would stop and point out an animal and then we’d take a picture. Once we saw a skunk, which Jacob said sprayed me. He said, “Ewe, you stink!” Then he pretended to wash me and said I smelled good again. Jared got home around 4:30. Jacob and I held the long piece of yarn for Daddy to jump over. Then Daddy pretended to be a horse and Jacob was the driver. Jacob tied up the horse and blocked off a section with chairs for he and I. When the horse tried to get thru Jacob said, “No, this is no place for a horse!” Then Jacob had fun riding the horse. A couple times he fell off the horse and called for an ambulance. I’d make siren sounds and drive him to the hospital where I’d give him an exam. I went outside to take care of the animals. Jacob played at the counter with playdoh until dinnertime. He made a pan and then rolled many eggs for cooking. Adam laughed as Daddy rolled on the exercise ball across the room to him. After dinner the boys watched Daddy play Mario Kart. Then we went to the mall to walk around. First we walked to Barnes and Noble so the boys could play on the train table. Then we had fun walking thru the many different campers on display at the mall. Lastly we walked around Target. We got home around 9pm. The boys ate a snack and then we started their bedtime routines.

I exercised until the boys woke up around 8am. We watched Curious George and Sid the Science kid. The boys ate their breakfast during Curious George. After getting ready for the day we headed over to Nana's house. We got there around 10:30. Vikki came over to watch the boys while Mom permed my hair. Jacob played with moon sand and Adam had fun with playdoh. Mom started on my hair shortly before noon. We had fun watching a dvd of Kenzie from birth to 5yrs old. The boys had fun playing with Aunt "Bippi" and she also helped some with my hair. We finished around 2pm. I tucked Adam down for a nap at 2:30. He fell asleep very quickly. Mom left to pick Kenzie up from school. We continued watching the dvd of Kenzie. Jacob played with the matchbox cars and also enjoyed watching the dvd. Then he cuddled in the chair with Aunt "Bippi". Jacob was excited when Kenzie got there. Adam woke up around 5pm. Just as we were leaving Papa came in the door. The boys chased him and tried to tickle him. Jacob fell asleep on the drive home. As we were about to drive past Fazoli's Adam pointed and said, "Olies?" When I told him we weren't going to be eating there tonight he asked,"Why?" A little further down the road he pointed at the car dealership and said, "Crash cars?" We took a drive past the crashed cars. Then when we drove past Wholesale Auto he said, "More crash cars?" Jacob continued sleeping until around 7pm. I went outside to take care of the animals. We had fun playing with Adam until dinner was ready. Jacob slept thru dinner but was asking to eat soon after he woke up. The boys played in the tub until almost 9pm. As Jacob took off his undershirt he first pulled his arms out but before pulling it over his head he said, "One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go!" Jacob wanted to help tuck Adam in bed. Adam asked him to come in the crib so I lifted him in. Then I left the room for a little while. It was fun listening to them in the monitor as they talked and giggled (there was alot of giggling).

Daddy gets a ride.

Jared left for work around 6:30 and I started exercising. Jacob woke up around 7:45 and Adam was awake by 8am. We watched Curious George. After breakfast Jacob picked out some books to read together. After getting ready for the day we watched Clifford. The boys got out their fold up chairs to sit on. We also watched Sesame Street. Adam likes to run full speed at the exercise ball. Then he will roll up on it and roll off of it (hopefully not into anything). Vikki came to our house around 11am. Jacob played with playdoh at the counter. Adam played with the doctor kit. He also ran around playing with the dogs. Vikki and I had fun looking at picture books from when we were young. After lunch Jacob asked to play with his yarn pieces. He likes to tie them to the measuring cups. Adam sure has fun hitting around the plastic orange with the tweezers from their doctor kit. Jacob decorated a piece of cardboard with some stickers. Around 2pm we has a snack and read some books. Adam napped from 2-5pm. Jacob played with his cars and the foam blocks. He had the foam blocks spread out on the kitchen and he was pretending the tractor and stool (on its side) was a bulldozer as he pushed them around. Aunt “Bippi” had brought cool badge stickers for the boys. Jacob had them all on his shirt. He played at the counter with playdoh and said he was making foods, which he cut into tiny pieces. Vikki and I did our exercises together. Jared got home around 5pm. Daddy and the boys played with foam blocks while Vikki and I went outside to take care of the animals. The boys had fun playing with Aunt “Bippi” until dinner was ready. Adam sure was laughing hard. After dinner Jared played some tennis on the Wii. Jacob pretended to be a firefighter. He said, “And don’t EVER play with fire!” Vikki headed home around 7:30. It was raining outside. Adam asked me to drive with him under the counter. We pretended the stools were our cars. Jacob came to drive with us, but soon left saying he was going shopping. As he walked away he told me to say I was going to go look at the broken cars. He got some clothes out of his drawer, refolded them, and then put them in a container to carry around. We tied yard to sticks so the boys could pretend to be fishing. Jared went down in the crawlspace to get some clothes bags for me. The boys went down too. They were tucked in bed around 9pm.

It was a typical Wednesday for us. We had fun with the kids at church. Then Vikki met us at Salvation Army and we spent the day together. We did some shopping and had a great time. Then she came back to our house. Many time today Adam would see her and say, "Hi Bippi!" And if she left our side in the store Jacob would yell, "Bippi, where are you, I want you!" Jacob started to cry when she didn't pull in the driveway immediately after us. We love you Vik! She headed home around 7:30. After tucking the boys in bed Jared and I watched Lost.

"Look at my hat Adam."

Adam trying to knock it off.

Working under the table.
Jacob using his "pumper thing" to put air in the tire.

I started exercising at 6:30. Jacob woke up shortly before 8am. We watched Curious George. Adam soon was awake also. Jacob asked for cheerios with milk for the first time since he was sick. When Curious George was over Adam said, “Clifford on!" Jacob got his change bank and dumped out the change on the counter. Adam asked for his bank. I spread out his blanket so we could dump it out on that. I was talking to Aunt “Bippi” on the phone and Adam kept grabbing the phone saying, “Me turn”. He’d say, “Hi Bippi” and then hand it right back to me. During the Clifford song Adam knelt down and was dancing to the music. It was really cute. The boys got out all their tools and we had fun playing with them. There was a lot of hammering going on. Adam went to sit on the container that holds all our Wii and Xbox accessories. Jacob noticed and said, “Adam, remember what Mommy said not to sit on that.” Jacob and I sat on the couch and looked thru some picture books. Adam looked for a little while and then went to play with his Tonka crane truck. The boys had fun playing with the pieces of yarn that Daddy had given them. Jacob pretended his yard was a cord to his “pumper thing.” Adam liked spreading his yard across the floor. He then balled it up and said, “Ball, tatch (catch)” and he’d throw it to me. Around 2pm the boys ate their snack and we read some books. I lay Adam down for his nap and Jacob rested in his bedroom. Jacob kept wanted to show me his new exercise move. They were really good. After each of them he'd say, “Mommy, I learned that in Sunday School too.” Then he said, “Mommy, you wanna see the car show?” He had several matchbox cars lined up and he’d take one and race it in a circle until it ran out of gas. I sat down so we could play cars together. Then I did some exercises. Jacob did some exercises with me. He then got out his car mat to play on. Adam woke up at 4:30. The boys and I had fun playing with cars on the car mat. When Daddy came home he played too. Then the boys took turns laying on Daddy’s back while he did some push ups. The boys then took turns giving Daddy "rides" on their backs. I went outside to take care of the animals. We had taco’s for dinner. The boys loved the tacos and asked for more. After dinner Jacob asked Daddy to play “mouse trap.” Adam asked me to sit under the counter and drive. We had fun pretending the stools were our cars. Jacob soon came to drive with us. When I'd say my car was broke Adam would get out and come to fix my car. I love his sounds. Daddy played some Mario Kart. As Jacob sat at the counter he pretended the foam puzzle was his computer keyboard and he typed on it. We played with playdoh until pj time.

"Dame please?"

Jacob put a couple couch pillows in these boxes and said it was a present for me.
Adam throwing a pillow at me.
Snacktime.

Soon after we got into bed last night Jared sat up and said, “Whats that? I hear something dripping.” As he went to take care of it I laughed because it was the ticking clock that has been in our bedroom for weeks. I got up this morning to exercise until the boys woke up. Jacob woke up at 8am. We watched Curious George. Adam woke up around 9:00. He went right to playing with his fireman hat and spraying his "hose." Jacob and I put together the USA puzzle. He's gotten good at this puzzle and doesn't need much help. I just read the state name for him. The boys ate cheerios and toast for breakfast. After watching Clifford Jacob got out his drum and said, “I was gonna try my drumming.” We also watched Sesame Street. When Elmo’s World came on Adam pointed at the TV saying, “Elmo’s word, Elmo’s word!” Jacob played at the counter with moon sand until lunchtime. Adam played with moon sand for a while but then wanted down to play with other things. After lunch Adam was walking around with the drum over his head and Jacob said, “Maybe hims in outer space.” Adam played with the Little People things and the barn in his bedroom. As I walked in to check on him he patted the floor and said, “Play, me (play with me).” We played with that for a little while. I had moved all the kitchen chairs and stools onto the carpet and Jacob had fun playing on them. I cleaned the kitchen and scrubbed the floor and baseboards. Jacob helped me scrub for a short time and then was off doing other things. I gave them a couple boxes to play with. They pretended their boxes were boats. Jacob would put one box on top of the other and wrap me presents. Then Jacob asked if I wanted to go shopping to get a present for Adam. He wrapped up a car and gave it to Adam. Adam and I had fun throwing the couch pillows at each other. After he'd throw one at me he'd run away as quick as he couch. We had snacks and then read some books. I tucked Adam in for a nap at 2:30. Jacob and I read a few books and then he rested in his bedroom. Jacob watched as I started repainting the grout in our kitchen. He wanted to help so I got him a paintbrush. He did really good and was so careful about just painting the grout. When he did get some paint on the tile he'd wipe it off with his finger and then wipe his finger onto his paint shirt saying, "Thats ok." Adam woke up around 5pm. The boys played with playdoh at the counter until dinnertime. Jared got home around 5:30. I went outside to take care of the animals. After dinner Adam and I had fun racing his cars down the track. Jacob asked Daddy to play his Mario game. I got some good cuddles from Adam as we sat in the rocker and watched Daddy play. After the boys were tucked in Jared and I watched 24.
