Kimmy here... Daddy brought Jacob to lay by us this morning. Soon he was up and having fun arranging the couch pillows to play on. We spent the morning playing with cars, blocks, and the train set in the living room. Adam liked going downstairs to visit Grandpa. The morning seemed to go by quickly. Shortly after noon we took a car trip. We drove around and Grandma gave us a tour of Carmel and the new shopping mall. We got back around 1:30. Eric, Kat and Andrew were there. When Jacob noticed their van parked in the driveway he said, "I'm excited to see Kat!" We ate lunch. The boys (including Jared) had fun racing cars down the sled, which was propped up on the stairs. Andrew kept busy running to get more cars. Around 2:30 I lay Adam down for a nap. Eric, Kat, and Andrew left around that time also. Jacob asked to get out the marbles. We also played with dominos, cars, and blocks. Jacob had fun playing on the "boat (sled)" which was up on the couch. Adam woke up around 4:30. The boys ate a snack and then we headed over to "Christmas at the Zoo". We had a great time walking thru the building with fish, sharks, penguins, and sea horses. The train ride was a lot of fun! Jacob wanted to sit by Grandma. The walk outside was beautiful with an amazing display of lights. Lastly we went to see the Holiday train display. That was neat to see and the boys loved it. We got back to Grandma's around 8:30. The boys were hungry. We had a late dinner of sandwiches and apples. Jared and I had some apple pie. I tucked Adam in bed while Daddy and Jacob played with blocks and a few cars. Daddy taught Jacob how to put the blocks away correctly.
