The boys woke up around 9am. During breakfast we watched Clifford and then we watched Sesame Street. These sure look different with the converter box hooked up. At 11am we went outside to enjoy the snow. Jacob took out an empty root beer box to push around in the snow. He pretended it was his boat. It didn’t hold up for long so we went inside to get a couple toy boats. As Jacob pushed it around in the snow he said, “There are two of each animal in the boat”. Adam was able to walk around in this snow since we had a warm (40 degree) day, which melted a lot of what we had. We came back inside for lunch. After lunch the boys played “hay ride” with the tractor. Jacob sure loaded Adam with blankets in the cart. We then colored with markers at the table. Jacob was making sad faces so I asked him why they were sad. He said, “Cause the fridgerator (refrigerator) took its toys”. At around 2pm I read Adam some books. Then we cuddled in the rocking chair as he had a snack and I sand some songs. As I went to lay Adam in his crib he said, “sing!” So I sang, “I’m bringing home my baby bumblebee” before laying him down. After I lay him down he asked me to pat his belly so I did for a minute or so. Then I read books with Jacob. After reading I got him a snack and we cuddled and sang in the rocking chair. At 3pm he lay down on his bed and played with some cars and blocks. Around 4pm Jacob and I went outside. I finished shoveling the driveway. Jacob pushed the other shovel up and down the driveway. Then we walked out to the trees in our front yard and cleared some snow off the ice. We then started feeding the animals. I let the hens out and then got some water for them and the rooster. As I was coming out of the rooster’s pen Jacob said, “I wanna go in there and collect his eggs”. Jared came home while we were feeding. Jacob told him, “Mommy shoveled the driveway just for you”. We went back inside around 5:30 and soon after that Adam woke up. After dinner we got the coloring books out and colored some pictures. Adam requested “Elmo” so he colored an Elmo picture. During Adam’s bath tonight he shoved the duck into the boat and then couldn’t get it out. As he tried he looked at me and said, “help, Mommy”. When I got him out of the tub he said, “Burr”. Then he smiled and said, “Fast” because he was excited to run down the hallway with his hooded towel on. Jacob and Daddy were watching “The Muppets” but I don’t think Jacob liked them. Jacob and I had fun making bubble beards during his bath.
