Adam is unhappy with Jacob stacking books on top.
After breakfast Jacob said to me, “You wanna play library? You the library?” As he handed me some books he said, “Were all done with these books, here you go?” We got a few inches of snow during the night. It was a cold, windy day. We got home from church around 11am. After lunch Jared went outside to shovel the driveway. He also shoveled the path to the barn. Jacob wanted to go outside too but it was very cold and windy outside. Jacob built a library out of some chairs. He liked stacking the books on the chair legs. Adam tried to help but he got upset and didn’t want Jacob to set any books on the top chair legs. Jacob then made a garbage can out of the chairs. He used a book for the cover. When Daddy came back inside he read Adam his bedtime stories and then I cuddled with him in the rocking chair. I tucked Adam in for a nap around 2pm. Jacob rested by Daddy on the couch. Then he played with playdoh at the counter while Daddy and I prepared veggie soup for dinner. While that was cooking I went to the bedroom to wrap some Christmas presents. After a while Jacob asked to play with moon sand. Adam woke up around 5pm. I put the presents I wrapped in large garbage bags and hid them in our closet. After dinner I brought a large pile of laundry out to the couch for folding. I went to get something and came back to find both boys hiding in the laundry. Jacob was buried and I could see Adam’s head. Adam (and Jacob) held really still as I searched for them. They sure giggled when I found and tickled them. Jared helped me fold and put away the laundry. This evening I dusted and vacuumed the house. While I was vacuuming the hallway the boys kept running towards the vacuum. Then they’d run away laughing. Jacob asked Daddy to play “catch that mouse”. I wish I could remember how he asked him because it was really cute. After the boys had baths it was time to start their bedtime routines. Jacob came into Adam’s bedroom as I was laying him in his crib. He wanted to lie next to Adam in the crib. Jacob and I patted his belly for a couple minutes. I went to lift Jacob out of the crib and he said, “Wait”. Then he knelt next to Adam and gave him three kisses and three hugs. The boys were tucked in by 9pm.

It says a lot that your oldest plays "library."
Has anyone noticed how Kimmy dresses the boys alike. It's both sweatshirts, or sweaters or both red or maybe red and green etc. Well, I'm noticing as any good grandmother would. Go Kimmy. I would imagine that it is another day of playing something. It's zero here with windchill around -15. Brrrr. I'm hoping it's better in Michigan. Baking for the Mamlins. It's sweetrolls and two more apple pies to deliver later today.
Kimmy...we have 1 inch of snow here. Well, really none. Humm...that's the temp. But how do you say you have -16 windchill. Can't say we have -16 inches of snow. I understand you perfectly. It takes a woman to understand a woman. LR
I'm not sure what the temp is here, but its cold. We got a little snow during the night. Were suppose to be getting a couple more snowstorms by Christmas I hear. On Saturday we were driving down the road, nearing a crossroad. There was a tractor coming down the other road (I thought he was plowing his driveway) and I said to Jared, "Wow, imagine shoveling that driveway!" Jared laughed at me as he told me it was a road. Well, now we go by roads and Jared says, "Wow, I wouldn't want to shovel that driveway, or look at how long that driveway is". Just another thing that Jared wont let me forget:)
Kimmy...the cold and snow is getting to your brain. I understand the illness very well.
It's called brain freeze and only comes to those females with superior brains. The Male population is just unable to understand. They never will get it.
