Jacob making a snow angel.

Jacob is eating some snow. Adam didn't really want Jacob behind him.

Boys getting their chairs.

Jacob came into the bedroom around 9am. He looked on Daddy's side of the bed and said, "Where's Daddy?" I told him Daddy was at work and he said, "But I miss him" in a sad voice. After breakfast we watched the last half of Clifford and some of Sesame Street. We went outside for about an hour this morning. I shoveled the driveway and almost got it finished. Jacob showed me the circle he'd made in the snow with his "feetprints". The snow was above his knees and he loved walking in it. He lay down to make a snow angel. Adam wanted to walk in the snow also. He cried when he couldn't get too far and he didn't want me to help him either. Today, Jacob didn't even want to come inside when I told him I was going to make hot chocolate. We all enjoyed some hot chocolate. Then we ate lunch and played inside for a while. Around 1:30 we headed into town to do some Christmas shopping. We went to Kohl's for a couple things and the boys were excited to ride in their double stroller carts. They pretended it was a car. I'd turn it in the direction Jacob was pretending to steer it. When I'd stop pushing he'd climb out and pop the hood. He pointed to some chips in the paint and said, "You see that, thats a problem. Were gonna have to fix it, let me get my tools". Once he said, "This car is acting bery (very) ter-ri-ble, in the back, its moving funny". Then he got out to take a look and filled all the tires up with air. He was so funny. I love all his sounds and actions (like shutting the hood or using his tools). We went to many stores and didn't get home until around 5:30. Jared got home before us. Adam, who had missed his nap, fell asleep almost as soon as we left the last store. He continued to sleep at home after I lay him in his crib and slept thru dinner. While I cleaned up the kitchen Jacob and Daddy had fun making airplanes and "spinner fings" out of legos. I woke Adam up soon after 7pm and he ate a late dinner. He also had fun playing with the legos. He grabbed Daddy's fingers and took him over to the nintendo. Daddy turned Super Mario on and the boys ran to get their chairs. They played a little until snacktime. While Adam was taking a bath Jacob and Daddy played some more with the legos. I heard them flying their airplanes down the hallway. In the bathtub Adam played with a couple old little people and a couple squirting animals. He'd set the people on the edge of the tub, turn their faces towards him and say, "turn round". He makes the sound "do do do do do" as he walks the people (this he learned from Jacob). He loved riding the "elevator" out of the tub and makes a "cha" sound as he pushes the elevator button. He kept saying, "daa (again)". I was lifting and setting him down slowly but then he said, "fast" so I lifted him straight up and down fast. That sure made him giggle. He loves to help me rub in the lotion. I asked him if he wanted to put some on my cheek. Then I put a little in his hand and he put it on my cheek. After I helped him rub it in, he look at my cheek and said, "dall dawn (all gone)". He smiled and said, "nore (more)?" We did it a few more times each time he'd say the same things. He then ran out to put some on Daddy's cheek. Daddy had Adam tucked in bed by the time Jacob was done with his bath. I went in Adam's room to get my nightly cuddle time which I enjoy so much. Jacob sat with us as we sang some songs. Their favorite lately is "The Wheel's on the Bus" song. We prayed and then he asked to sit on his changing table. He loves for me to name things we see out the window. Daddy read Jacob his Bible and then Jacob picked out three books for me to read with him. Lately before I leave Jacob's bedroom at night he want's three hugs and three kisses.

great snow pictures. I could think it would be difficult and hard to understand for Adam why he can't walk so easily in the snow. Keep the driveway open. Is it snowing every day? Not a flake here.
