Jacob woke up just after 8am. As I was pouring cheerios into his bowl he said, “Mommy, I wanna go outside and stretch”. We went outside to stretch and took the dogs out with us. We sat on the couch and munched on cheerios as we watched Curious George. Jacob had told me, “I want my cheerios and milk sep-parate”. Adam woke up soon after 9am. Today I did a lot of cleaning around the house. Jacob helped me fold and put laundry away. Got out the Little People toys and the boys had fun playing with them. I cleaned out the toys box. Jacob was playing with his tractor and came to me saying, “look, Mommy, I’ve been working a long day, with my tractor, with my keys, I’ve been scooping dirt with my tractor and I stopped it right there” as he pointed at his tractor. I lay Adam down for a nap at 2:30 and he slept for 3 hrs. Jacob and I played “doctor”. He gave me the dish to puke in, listened to my heart, listened to me breath, took my temp (under my arm), gave me a shot of antibiotics, got my sliver out, put ouch cream on, and look in my mouth with the flashlight and the mirror. He loves to put his ear up to me and listen to my heart. Then we got out the legos. After Daddy was home we played with his cash register. He loves to scan items for me to purchase. The family came to pick up three of our goat at around 6pm. Jacob made sure we weren’t going to give Clarence (his favorite goat) away. I assured him they weren’t going to take him. Ethel got loose and took us a little while before Jared landed on her to catch her. The lack of horns makes her harder to catch. Turns out, this couple has had goats before, pigs and cows also. We were glad about that. Their son is 2 ½ yrs old. The boys all took apples over to the horses. Then Jacob asked their son if he wanted to play on the slides. The boy got a sliver in his finger. Adam asked to swing so Jacob helped me give him some pushes in the swing. They left with the goats around 7pm. The boys ate dinner but Jared and I decided to go out to Fazoli’s after Jared’s phone call to his boss in China. We were leaving later than expected so I put the boys in their pj’s before we left. The boys love the breadsticks there. Jacob wanted to carry the to-go plate out to the car. He said, “this is light and I can carry it”. As we were walking to the car Jacob held the covered plate up and decided to pretend it was a steering wheel. When Daddy told him to keep it level he laughed and said, “I thought that was a steering wheel”. We stopped at Tim Horton’s before going home. Jacob fell asleep in the car. Adam was so happy as we sat on the couch and read the dump truck book. He wanted me to read it over and over and gets so excited on each page.

The last picture you posted of Adam is one that really remindes me of baby JB. What fun to see your own children come alive in the next generation. So glad the goats are not a new adventure for the family. So...now do you have three left. Doc gave me a good report but the bad report is that the sling must stay on for 4 weeks. That will be hard. But...I will do it.
The anonymous posting just jumped away before I got my name on it. Of course...It's from Grandma R.
We have two goats now, Clarence and Lockjaw. Take care.
