Jacob woke up at 7:30. He watched Curious George and Clifford while he ate his breakfast. Adam woke up soon after 9am. Jacob cuddled with Truman in the chair. Then he covered him with his blanket and gave him a drink (bowl). He said to me, “shhhh, be really quiet, Truman’s leeping”. Adam brought a book to me saying, “Mommy, Mommy” and then he ran to the couch. I thought he wanted me to read to him but he just wanted up on the couch so he could look at the book himself. He can get up on our chair by himself but has only mastered the couch a couple times. He likes to walk up to the couch say, “Mommy, pease” until I help him up. I spent the morning washing, cutting, and blanching beans from our garden. Then after lunch I worked on washing and dicing carrots. Then I blanched and bagged them to put in the freezer. Jacob and Adam rode around on their cars, played on the horse, and played “doctor” together. At 2pm we headed to the post office to pick up the mail and resume it (it was stopped for our vacation). Adam took a nap from 3-5. Jacob rested for a short time. Then he and I played with cars together. Jacob fell on Kate and she bit his cheek. Daddy came home from work around 5:30. Adam greeted him at the door, but Jacob ran to hide behind the rocking chair. Daddy sat down in the chair and said, “I wonder where Jacob is?”. Jacob giggled and then Daddy reached behind his chair to get him. After dinner Daddy and Jacob lay on the couch and looked thru a car magazine that Maude (the sheep) got in the mail. I think our sheep gets more mail than we do thanks to one of Jared’s coworkers. I am knitting a scarf and added a few rows to that while the boys played with Daddy. Around 7:30 we headed over to the fair. We walked thru the barns and the merchant buildings. Adam did good walking around with the harness on. Before leaving we took the boys over to "drive" the tractors. Soon after we got home it was pj time.
