Great Sand Bay.
Adam woke up around 8am. I brought him into our bed. He lay there with his cheek right next to mine. Then he saw Truman and said, "I (hi) dow-dee" as he went to give him a hugg. Soon Jacob was awake and cuddled with Daddy on the chair in the tent. We got another yummy pancake breakfast at Grandma's. This morning "Big Boy" didn't appear to be alive anymore. Jacob looked at him and said, "Big Boy's leeping". Jacob took a short ride on the tricycle. Then we took a walk with Grandma around the campground. At 10:30 we got the boys ready to head over to the Great Sand Bay. Right away Jared worked on getting his stream going back in the direction he had it going the other day. Truman got to run around and play. He found a very large branch to play with. He swung it around and I got hit in the back of the head with it. Jacob and Adam tried to get Truman to take the sticks they had found. Jacob likes to put sticks in the sand and pretend their levers for his boat. Adam kept sticking his face in the shallow water. A couple times he got a mouthful of sand. Jacob loved going with Daddy out a ways in Lake Superior. They had fun jumping the waves. We left around 1pm. Stopped at the Jampot for some cookies. Jacob asked if we could go see the Falls. As we walked up the road he saw the sign that says Jacob's Falls. He pointed at it and said, "dat sign says My Falls". We sat by the falls and ate our ginger snap cookies. On the way back to camp we drove up Brockway mountain. Another late lunch again today. The boys and I lay dow and rested, though none of us fell asleep. Jacob and Adam sat on the tractor and rode around together. It was really cute. They had fun seeing what rocks could fit in their pop bottles. And they loved shaking their bottles. When Adam saw Grandpa park his truck he called, "Bampa" as he hurried over to see him. Jacob also went over there. They came back with some cookies from Grandma. Jacob made a house out of leaves for "Big Boy". After dinner I did some knitting as the boys played. We went for a walk around 7:15. Adam was bathed and in bed early tonight. He was asleep very quickly. Jacob sat around the campfire with us. When Grandma came back from their ice cream visit Jacob called to her right away. He remembered that she had promised to give him some more cookies when Adam was asleep. She brought some over for him. She brought Jared and I a bag of popcorn. Jacob asked to roast marshmellow so we did that before going to bed. Jacob didn't really like the marshmellow by itself and we were out of grahm crackers. We were in by by 10:15.
