After the fall.
Jacob woke up at 8am and came into our bed. I brought Adam in the bedroom around 9am. He lay next to Jacob and Jacob rubbed his face. Then they got up to give Truman hugs. This morning Adam really wanted to sit at the table like Jacob does. I packed the tray to his highchair and lowered it up to the table. He was happy about that. Adam brought me the Hondo and Fabian book to read. We sat on the couch to read together. Jacob has this book memorized. He laughs when we and add Trumans name in place of Hondo’s and then corrects us. The boys sat at the piano to play. I played Mary had a Little lamb and Jacob helped me sing it. Jacob wanted to see my glitter globe. The boys loved watching the glidder sparkle in the light as it fell over the horse. They gave the horse kisses. Around 1:30 we left to head over to the playground per Jacob’s request. He made sure I didn’t forget to pack snacks and drinks before we left. On the drive there we passed a house with a sandy pond. Jacob said, “look, there’s the Great Sand Bay”. They were both excitedly clapping when they saw the playground. Jacob was most excited to play “McDonalds” again. He wanted to paint his “McDonalds” red. He pretended to pant with a stick and asked if I wanted to help him. Adam was excited to play on the “dup tuck (dump truck)”. There were some kids with their Grandma who were also playing. The Grandma told me about a couple other nice play round in the area. We got home around 3pm and the boys had fallen asleep on the short drive. They stayed asleep as I moved them to their beds. They both slept until around 5pm. Soon after that Daddy came home. At dinner Jacob told Daddy how to spell his name. This evening Jared cleaned out the chicken coop and Jacob rode with him on the tractor to dump the cart. Then they drove the trash down to the dumpster. We took a walk down our road and looked at our trees marked by Consumers.

I love that one picture of Adam after he got up that first step You can tell he was proud of himself by the look on his face.
Tell me about Mommy's hat and scarf. Jacob's eyes look so happy in the second modeling picture. What a kid.
I am pleased to see more of Kimmy these last postings. You look great with your boys -- all on the Green Team!
Adam has a great model to follow, doesn't he? One of these days he will find something he does even better than his big brother . . . He certainly seems happy now to be following in brother's footsteps.
wow what do I have to do to get a hat and scarf
