Adam at the doctors.
Jacob showing me his bite from Kate (Adam trying to climb the ladder).
Adam's first taste of corn on the cob. He loved it!
We took Jared to work this morning on our way to Mom's house. The boys were excited. Nana was upstairs and they both went up the stairs calling, "Nana, Nana". They loved when Papa chased them. Nana left to take Grandpa and his dog to their vet appointment. She got back around 10:30. I lay Adam down for a morning nap. He slept from 9 until 11:00. I thought Jacob, who was also very tired, might fall asleep while we rested but he didn't. He just lay down and played with his car. He and I went outside. He was so excited to play with his "struction truck". Nana and I sat on the swing and drank our coffee as he continued to drive his truck around. He'd get off and say, "I gotta check the engine". Adam had an appointment with the urologist at 11:45. Jacob wanted to stay with Nana. The waiting room was packed. I sat down with Adam by the train table and fish tank. He'd point at the tank and said, "tishie". I'd ask him "do you like those fish?" and he'd nodd his head yes. While we were waiting, Adam ate his bolonie and cheese sandwich. There were a couple elderly ladies sitting by us. Adam flirted with the ladies. He liked handing his sippy cup to them. They enjoyed telling me about their grandsons. After a while he got down and played on the train table. We went into the room around 12:30. Adam didn't want to stand on the scale to be weighed or measured. Soon the doctor was in for his exam. That didn't take long. He wants him back in for a recheck in 4 months. Got back to Mom's around 1:15. We sat outside and watched the boys playing on the truck and jeep. There were some hornets flying around and one stung Adam's forehead. We pulled apart the playslide and a bunch of hornets came flying out. Mom sprayed the nest but there were still a bunch flying around. We went inside. Adam lay down for a nap at 2:30. When Papa came home from work he and Jacob went outside. Mom showed me some things I needed to know for knitting my scarf. Jared called around 4pm saying we could come pick him up from work. Got home shortly after 5pm. Jacob had fallen asleep in the van and stay sleeping on the couch until dinner time. Jared mowed the lawn. Adam loves when I sit down and help him put his touch and feel puzzle together. When he hears the tractor he beggs to watch Daddy out the window. Just before dinner was ready we looked out the window and saw a mother turkey and her 9 "babies". Jared, the boys, and I watched out the window as they came closer and closer to the house. After dinner we went to the fair to walk around. After walking thru a couple barns Jacob asked to play on the tractors. They had fun "driving" their tractors. When we got home Jacob and Daddy walked out to lock up the chickens. Adam saw them, reached his hand's towards the coop and said, "chit-tin, chit-tin". I asked him, "do you want to help lock up the chickens too?" and he quickly nodded yes. Jacob wanted to put his own pj's on while I got Adam dressed. He was working on getting his shirt on with the tag in back when we came out. He said, "I want you to go to the bathroom". I went in the bathroom to give him a little extra time. Daddy helped Jacob hide under the pillows in our bedroom. He sure did giggle when I lay my head on the pillows to rest and found him. He wanted to do it again but this time to Daddy. Adam screamed to get up there quickly and hide with Jacob. Just before helping him up I said, "up please" to which Adam replied, "peease".
