Day 3
Adam woke up around 6:30. Jacob came to lay on our bed also. We got up and walked around camp and then walked over to pebble beach. We stayed to play in the sand. Jacob stuck a bunch of sticks in the sand saying they were his trees. Daddy and Jacob made smooth roads with sticks and bumpy roads by rolling a pine come over the sand. Then they’d drive their cars (rocks) over the road. We then took a walk over to the playground. Got back around 11:00. We took a trip to visit a store called the Laughing Loons. Both boys fell asleep on the drive back to camp. They woke up when we opened the doors. After lunch I lay Adam down for his nap. Grandma brought her chair over to our site and read a book. Jared, Jacob and I took a walk over to the East campground. We needed to get Jacob’s blanket washed. On the way we took a hike through the woods. Jacob and Daddy would run ahead and hide on me. Then they’d jump out to scare me. We walked through some of the fort buildings and the fort store. Jacob got an orange sherbert push up. While we waited for the clothes to get done we took a walk to the East campgrounds beach. Jacob wanted to take off his clothes so he could get wet. He liked throwing the rocks in the water and also enjoyed seeing the minnows. We stopped at the playground on the walk back to camp. Got back ~2:30 and Adam had just woke up. We took a walk and Jacob fell asleep in the stroller. Back at camp Jacob continued sleep and slept for a couple hours. We cut up veggies for aluminum foil dinners. Adam loved his meal but Jacob only ate his applesauce. After dinner we took a walk to the camp playground. Adam was so excited he clapped his hands as I put on his shoes. During our walk Jacob would sit on the ground and wait for us to get ahead of him. Then he’d run towards us and Daddy would turn around, pick him up, and tickle him. Jacob would laughed and say, “I can’t handle this”. Around 8pm we went with Grandma and Grandpa to the Berry Patch (ice cream store). By the time we got back it was time for the boys to get cleaned up for bed. Adam enjoys his bath in the sink and Jacob loves taking a shower. When we got back Adam was ready for bed. Jacob sat with us by the fire until bedtime.

Not only does it look relaxing (Adam chilling with his hands behind his head), but it looks like a great place for imagining (Jacob looking out across the lake).
I love all the great pictures. The one of you and the boys is so nice. Thanks for putting them on so we can enjoy your vacation. Love ya!
