Jacob woke up at 12am crying and hurrying to the bathroom. He had to pee really bad and did a little dance as I unzipped his pjs. He was much happier as I tucked him back in bed. Adam woke up at 3:30am and was standing in his crib. I lay him down and tucked him in. He went back to sleep quickly and woke back up around 6am to nurse. We got up around 7am with Jared’s parents. Jared, Lela, and I went out to take care of the animals. Came back in and had breakfast. Jacob woke up at 8:15. He sat between Grandma and Grandpa and had a poptart. Adam woke up soon after. Grandma got out some fabric and green paint. The boys put their handprints on it. Jacob didn’t want to stick his hand in the paint he wanted to use a paintbrush. He would let us paint his hand and do his handprint that way. Jacob got Grandma to sit on the floor in the kitchen and drive his tractor (the stools). We had sandwiches and chips for lunch. Adam tried pieces of broccoli for the first time and like it. Grandma gave Jacob some change to put in his bank. He played with his barn and likes to put the change in his trailer. Adam is getting better at his walking. He liked climbing on Daddy’s suitcase that was laying on the floor. Adam took a nap and Jacob and Daddy played with blocks. Grandpa read a book and Grandma took a short nap. I went outside to check on the chicks. Jacob rested on the couch. After Adam woke up from his nap Jacob and I went outside to take care of the animals. Jared’s parents took us out to Applebees for dinner. After dinner we went to the mall. Jacob wanted to show Grandma and Grandpa the train at Barnes and Noble. Then we took the boys to play. We stopped to look at some vans on our drive home. Jacob was excited to get out and look with us. By the time we got home it was almost time for pj’s.

That's funny. Max doesn't like to put his hands in finger paint either. He prefers to use a paintbrush too. Can't wait to see the chicks tomarrow. The kids are excited. Melissa

Interesting response from kids. I have known many who did not want to put their hands into the paint but, like Jacob and Max, were happy to have their hands painted. Hmmmm -- I wonder what Adam will do when he is Jacob's age . . .

So, Grandma took a nap, huh? I did notice it was a short one -- she doesn't want to miss out on the fun, does she?
