Adam woke up this morningjust before the alarm went off. After he was done nursing he lay in bed with me talking away. He loves to lean his head on me saying, "Mama Mama". Before Daddy left for work he took Adam and lay him back in his crib. Jacob came down to my bedroom around 9am and Adam woke up shortly after him. As soon as Jacob heard Adam talking he ran to his bedroom. I followed him. Jacob had found one of Adam's teddy bears and handed it to him. I called this morning and ordered our chicks which will be arriving in two weeks. After breakfast I said to Jacob, "lets watch Sesame Street" and I turned on the TV. He replied, "that will be per-rik" with a smile. Got out the Little People things and the barn and Adam had fun playing with that. Jacob and I played with his cars and the domino's. We had fun setting the domino's up and watching them fall. Adam loves to rock on the rocking sheep. Got out Mr Potato Head for us to put together. Jacob likes when I pretend I'm him talking. Then we played doctor. Jacob had me lay on the couch. He gave me shots and wanted me to cry. Adam came over and lay his head on me and gave me a hug. Jacob got a sliver out of my thumb and then grabbed the puke dish. I pretended to use it and he rubbed my head saying, "it OK Mommy". Adam took a short (~30 min) nap and Jacob rested. After Jared was home from work, Jacob and I went outside to take care of the animals. I was feeding Nutmeg and then turned around to find Jacob climbing up the huge pile of manure. He was so proud of himself. When we were feeding the goats we looked up to see a helicopter - Jacob liked that. Tonight Jacob asked to watch Cars. Jacob enjoyed bites of pineapple while I cut up fruit for Jared's lunch. While I was playing on the floor with Adam I would say, "go see Jacob". He'd crawl over to Jacob on the couch. Then I say, "come see Mommy" and he'd crawl back to me really fast. He'd lay his head on my lap and give me a hug.

Climbing the manure that must have been a sight to see...let me guess Jacob had a bath last night too?? Wow Jared gets his lunches made for him..its like he never left home! At least he doens't have to bring soap with him to clean up with.

Did I make lunches...I've forgotten...It's being the oldest you know. I can claim anything. I see Adam still has his little mark on his cheek. Wow. And...I also see the horse picture on the floor. What's going on? Manure...thank goodness it's horse and not cow. Hum...reminds me of a JB story and manure! Must run in HIS family of four...Oh, well it could be much worse. Manure washes off.

Sounds like a nice day.

I am glad that your are getting some green eggs -- I always like those. What is the name of the breed that lays green eggs? I forget.

When I saw both boys sitting on Jared's stomach, I wondered whether they know how to take a flying leap onto his stomach?

That horse picture is down because of the fish tank. We have to move the nail up some. Yeh, Adam has a scar on his cheek from when he banged it on the stool in the bathroom.

The chickens that lay the green eggs are called Ameraucanas. Oh yeh, Jacob loves to take flying leaps on Daddy's stomach. He loves doing it because Daddy makes loud noises when he does.
