Jacob wanted to pose for these pictures.

Grandma made the boys John Deere jackets.

Got up at 6am to help Kenzie get ready for school. Adam woke up at the same time and sat in the highchair munching on cheerios and drinking his water. Soon Jacob woke up and Kenzie went in to see him. He moved from his bed onto her air mattress. I made Kenzie waffles for breakfast and then braided her hair. As I walked with Adam by the picture of my sisters and me, Adam pointed and said, “Titty, Titty”. I walked back over to the picture and asked him where Aunt Vikki was he pointed right at her. After Jared and Kenzie left I nursed Adam and lay him back in his crib. He talked for a short time and soon fell asleep. Jacob never did fall back to sleep but he did lay on the mattress until 8am. He came to my bed for a little while and then we went out to have breakfast. Adam woke up at 9:30. He loved climbing up onto the air mattress. We played train this morning and for the first time Adam walked in our train (usually I carry him). We just walked a little slower. Jacob excitedly said, “Adam’s walking”. Jacob’s been talking about Grandma and Grandpa coming here today. When the dogs bark he runs to the window saying, “I gotta tee Grandma and Grandpa”. Adam’s been practicing his walking skill a lot today. If he takes his time he can walk halfway across the room. He also was going to a standing position on his own but Jacob came over and gave him a hug, which knocked him over. When Jared came home from work we all went outside to check on the chicks and put the trash in the back of the truck. Jacob drove in the truck with Daddy to take the trash to the dumpster. We fed the animals and then went inside for dinner. Grandma and Grandpa arrived shortly after 7pm. When Jacob saw them he jumped and said, “I like dem”. Grandma made the boys John Deere jackets. Adam wore his and Jacob tried his on but then wanted to take it off. When we were getting ready to go out to see the chicks Jacob said, “I wanna wear me green coat”. He didn’t take it off until it was time to get his pj’s on. He’d say to me, “ewe wanna peel dis, it toe soft”. Grandma read Jacob his bedtime stories and the boys were in bed by 9pm.

The posed pictures are very nice. He sure knows how to play to the camera, doesn't he?

It is nice to see Grandma R in the picture -- can we see Grandpa growling?

The jackets are cool. It is wonderful what Grandma R can do with her sewing machine!

I think it may be time for a video selection of Adam walking across the room. . .
