The boys woke up around 7:30am. Jacob liked drawing with the big color-changing pen that he got from Nana and Papa. Adam climbed up on the tricycle to reach the bell. Lately he likes to make a "clicking" noise with his tongue. I read Jacob the books that the boys got for Easter. We watched Sesame street. Adam stood up and danced to the music. He likes to do a little bounce while moving his hands some. Adam was pretty fussy this morning. Later I check and his other first molar on top has come through. I lay him down for his nap at 1:30. Jacob and I worked on making their frames they got in their Easter baskets. We had fun. Jacob especially liked the glitter glue. Then we went outside. I worked on cleaning the barn. Jacob played in the dirt with his shovel and then pretended he was fishing with the horse whip. We were outside for about 2 1/2 hours and Jacob started to get fussy. He seemed very tired so we went inside. He sat on the couch with his blankets and books. Soon Daddy was home and we made taco's for dinner. Jacob wanted to sit at the counter and look at his eggs. Adam likes to walk behind things while pushing them but if you try to take his hand and have him walk he holds up his feet. This evening he decided it was fun to walk holding my hands but still wouldn't do it for Daddy. Jacob lay on the floor and played with his cars. Adam adores Jacob and also likes his collection of hot wheels cars. When Jacob is playing with his cars and see's him coming he said, "help please, help please" while he puts his hand on his head to stop him from coming any closer. Daddy played with Adam while I layed on the floor to play with Jacob. I set Adam on the tonka truck and steered him while Jacob pushed from behind. Jacob liked having him crash into the book on the floor. Then he'd pretend to try and fix the tire. He'd then go and get his tractor, back it up and tow Adam on the truck away(with me pushing him behind Jacob's tractor). We did this over and over and Jacob really thought it was fun. Adam seemed to enjoy the ride and liked pushing all the buttons. We are excited about hopefully getting the chicks tomorrow. They were shipped out today and should arrive tomorrow, possible Wednesday.

Looks like Adam's going to be a climber. I love the pictures of Jacob wearing the hat.
Hummmmm...wondering if you are getting any roosters? 4 more sleeps. Thanks for another great story of the day.
Glitter glue?
Come on, Kimmy. It is MUCH more fun to have glue AND glitter separate!! The glitter gets all over the place when it is separate like that!!! That is the way to have REAL fun!!!!
Only hens in the coop this time. I didn't enjoy being chased by our rooster although I did like hearing him crow (our neighbors wouldn't agree).
Glitter glue came in the frame kits the boys got from their Nana and Papa for Easter. I had never used it before. I think the REAL fun was just the two of us doing something together:) We had a blast - mess or no mess.
Do you have any roosters now??
Only roosters we have are in the broiler group. If we ever do get another rooster I would like a polish one with a big frow.
Our chickens arrived this morning around 8am.
so if you get roosters in the boilers are you naming it Marty??
