The boys woke up around 8am. Had breakfast and watched Clifford. Got the Little People stuff out to play with. I read Jacob a book and then he asked to get out the blocks. Adam had a really messy diaper so I put both boys in the tub. They both had fun playing with their tub toys. After I washed Adam he was ready to get out. I dried him off and he walked around the bathroom naked. He loved walking around naked. He’d go from the tub to see Jacob, to the mirror and then over by the sink. He reached his hand up to ask for his toothbrush. Then he went back over to the tub and peed on the floor and towels. After lunch Jacob wanted to play with his rice. Adam practiced walking. He walked from the dishwasher in the kitchen to the toy box and then over to the couch. He fell down and then got up from the floor and started walking into the kitchen. Jacob wanted me to sit by him and play the piano. Adam heard us playing and came over to play too. Jacob likes to open the music book to the alphabet song. It was a very rainy day. Adam took a nap and Jacob rested. I sat next to him and read a book. He played with his cars and looked at his bible. Then we went outside to take care of the animals. It was raining out so I got Jacob's raincoat and boots on. He walked right through the large puddles in the driveway. We fed the animals and then Jacob played in the puddles with Truman. We found a stick in the yard and he would throw it into the puddle telling Truman to get it. Then he'd run back and forth through the puddles. Jared and Kenzie came home just after we got inside. After dinner we left to go look at some vans. We test drove one that we really like. Stopped at meijer for some ice cream which we had when we got home.

Jacob came down to the bedroom around 5am asking to play with his trucks. I took him back to his bedroom and tucked him in. Adam woke up around 5:30am. Both boys slept until shortly after 8am. Grandpa shared a poptart with Jacob for breakfast. Grandma and Grandpa stayed in the house with the boys while Jared and I went outside to take care of the animals. Found a dead broiler (meat chick) so we set up another heat lamp for them hoping that there would be less crowding under the lamp. When we got inside Jacob was playing with his money and barn at the counter and Grandpa was on the floor crawling after Adam. We tried to get Adam to stand up in Grandpa's shoes but he refused. He refuses to stand if you try to stand him up unless he is near something he can hand on to. We also tried to talk Jacob into standing in them but he didn't want to either. Around 10:40 we headed to church. They have only one service today at 11am. The lady in the nursery was suprised at how much Adam was walking. Had pizza for lunch. Adam had fruit, broccoli, and bites of pizza. He really likes his veggies now. Jacob took off his new jacket and said he wanted to lay on it because it was so soft. He spread it out on the couch and lay there on it. Grandma and Grandpa took off for home around 2pm. Adam took a nap and Jacob rested. We put in the Charlotte's Web dvd to watch. Jared went to the store for a few things. Mel and her family stopped by around 3:30. The kids were excited to go look at the chicks. Jacob and Max really enjoyed holding them. Hailey held one but much preferred to pet them. The kids liked petting Sammy and Max fed him some grain from his hand. He also sat on his back but soon wanted down. Took the kids to play on the slide. Adam woke up and we went inside and had dinner. I gave Max a haircut which he was really good for. Dad stopped by for a visit on his way home from a wedding. Mel and Bruce went to look at a house and the kids stayed with us. They sat on the floor and played with the hot wheels cars. Jared stayed in the house with Adam and Max while I took Hailey and Jacob outside to feed the animals with me. First we checked on the chick's in the coop. Hailey was full of questions about why we had to check on them. As we left she said we need to make sure to close the door so the foxes don't get them. In the barn she wanted to know about the gravity wagon. I told her about it and showed her how the corn came out of it. First they fed the cats. Then they each poured some grain in Sammy's dish. They watched me fill the water bucket and helped pull the lefter to shut it off. Hailey thought it looked heavy so I let her try to lift it. She said it weighted about like a ton! Her and Jacob both wanted to "help" me carry the bucket to Sammy's stall. It was a bit awkward to walk with a bucket of water in front of me and the kids on each side of the bucket. They both helped me push the hay off onto the ground and then we fed it to the animals. Checked on the broilers and I noticed that there was another dead one. When we got inside I made the kids some hot chocolate. I only had two straws so Max and Jacob shared one. Jared said that Adam fell all the way into the toy box again while we were outside.

Cute pictures of my nieces and nephew

My sister Vikki took these pictures. I thought they were adorable.

Jacob woke up at 12am crying and hurrying to the bathroom. He had to pee really bad and did a little dance as I unzipped his pjs. He was much happier as I tucked him back in bed. Adam woke up at 3:30am and was standing in his crib. I lay him down and tucked him in. He went back to sleep quickly and woke back up around 6am to nurse. We got up around 7am with Jared’s parents. Jared, Lela, and I went out to take care of the animals. Came back in and had breakfast. Jacob woke up at 8:15. He sat between Grandma and Grandpa and had a poptart. Adam woke up soon after. Grandma got out some fabric and green paint. The boys put their handprints on it. Jacob didn’t want to stick his hand in the paint he wanted to use a paintbrush. He would let us paint his hand and do his handprint that way. Jacob got Grandma to sit on the floor in the kitchen and drive his tractor (the stools). We had sandwiches and chips for lunch. Adam tried pieces of broccoli for the first time and like it. Grandma gave Jacob some change to put in his bank. He played with his barn and likes to put the change in his trailer. Adam is getting better at his walking. He liked climbing on Daddy’s suitcase that was laying on the floor. Adam took a nap and Jacob and Daddy played with blocks. Grandpa read a book and Grandma took a short nap. I went outside to check on the chicks. Jacob rested on the couch. After Adam woke up from his nap Jacob and I went outside to take care of the animals. Jared’s parents took us out to Applebees for dinner. After dinner we went to the mall. Jacob wanted to show Grandma and Grandpa the train at Barnes and Noble. Then we took the boys to play. We stopped to look at some vans on our drive home. Jacob was excited to get out and look with us. By the time we got home it was almost time for pj’s.
