Sitting on the new fence.

"Post delivery boy" carrying a post to Daddy.

Jacob posing for the picture.

I got up at 6am to exercise. Jared is off work today, so he slept in until 8am. Adam woke up around 8:30 and Jacob was up soon after that. Jacob cuddled on Daddy’s lap for awhile. Adam hooked up the cart to the tractor and then would lift up his feet and say, “Stuck!” as he tried to wiggle the tractor forward. After breakfast we headed over to TSC. We got some fencing, posts, and some baby chicks. Kenzie is coming over with a friend today and Jared wanted her to have some baby chicks to see. Once we were back home we went to the barn to get some things for keeping the chicks in the house. As I was carrying the chicks (in a box) up to the house I heard Jacob say, “Uh oh!” I looked back to find a trail of baby chicks who had fallen thru the bottom of the box. It was too funny. The boys loved holding the chicks. After a little while we went outside to work on fencing. Jacob was the “post delivery boy” as he brought post to Daddy when needed. Around 12:30 I made the boys some sandwiches and they ate lunch outside. Shortly after 1pm Mom, Kenzie, and Katelyn came over for a visit. The girls brushed Sammy and then I saddled him up for them to ride. Nana got to go for a ride too. The boys had fun playing with rocks in the driveway. At 2:30 I took Adam in to lay him down for a nap. Kenzie wanted to play with Katlyn in the gravity wagon. They also had fun in the hay. At 3pm Nana and the girls headed home. Jacob sat by the chicks cage and held baby chicks. When Vikki called to talk to me, Jacob asked to talk to her. He told her about the baby chicks and then held the phone by their cage so she could hear them. At 3:30 we got Adam up (he never did fall asleep). He ran out of his bedroom saying, “Baby chicks!” Around 4pm we headed over to meet Vikki at Salvation army. Jared left to help a coworker who needed to use our van for hauling a door to his house. We had a fun time shopping. Vikki joined us for dinner at Fazoli's. During dinner Jacob leaned over to tell Aunt Bippi a secret. He said, "Bippi I wanna tell you a secret. I wanna tell you, I love you." We had a fun time. Jacob wanted Aunt "Bippi" to come home with us. We got home around 7:30. Jacob sat by the chicks cage until pj time. Adam was very tired so I tucked him in bed a little early. Jacob was tucked in by 9pm.

I love the blue hats too! The chicks are in for a short time for the boys to enjoy. The fence is goat/sheep fence but can also be used for horses. We do plan on getting more sheep in the future.
