Coloring Easter Eggs.

Jared took Kenzie to Mom's on his way to work this morning. Jacob woke up around 7am but stayed in his bedroom for awhile. We watched Curious George. Adam woke up at 8:30. The boys ate breakfast at their little table. Adam looked out the window and said, “Ducks are here.” Then he pointed at the pond and said, “Right dere.” The boys had fun coloring. Jacob loved cutting up note cards and then paisting the pieces together to make "squirter things." I made sunflowers out of coffee filters with some help coloring from Jacob. After we were all done Jacob swept the kitchen floor for me. After lunch the boys pretended to be firemen. It was fun just watching them play together. We went outside. The weather was nice but very windy. We fed corn to the ducks. The boys played in the sand. I was sitting on the steps by the sand when Adam wanted to get past me. He looked at me and said, “Use (Excuse) me Mommy.” Jacob and Adam picked apples (little rocks) for me to buy from them. We also played some in the barn. It was snack time when we came back inside. We read many books together. I lay Adam down for a nap and Jacob rested in his bedroom. I did a 30-min run. Jacob and I had fun playing the fishing game. Then he sang some songs and wanted me to dance to them. After Jared got home we went outside to take care of the animals. While dinner was cooking I went in our bedroom to do Easter baskets. That was lots of fun. Adam woke up just before dinner was ready. He pointed at the pond and said, “Ducks out dere.” He and I went outside to look for them. It was chilly and we didn’t have our coats on. After a couple minutes I asked him if he was ready to go back inside. He said, “Uh huh, coat on.” After dinner we colored Easter eggs. Adam saw the bubbles as the tablet dissolved and said, “Bubbles in dere!” The boys enjoyed watching the eggs turn colors. This evening Jacob and Adam had fun in the bathtub until pj time. I gave them a foam dispenser to play with. Jacob was the only one who was able to pump it. Adam was frequently asking Jacob, “More more bubbles pwease?” As many times as Adam would ask that Jacob would say, “Uh huh” and happily put more bubbles in his cup. The boys are so much fun to watch run around in their robes after their bath. Tonight Adam was purposely pulling apart his robe and then saying, “fix-a me?” The boys were tucked in bed by 9pm. Jared and I watched Lost.

It's great hearing all those words from Adam. They are great little boys. Infact all my grandsons are great little boys.

Were the eggs you colored all laid by your hens?

Why give them a foam dispenser in the tub? Is Jared no longer dispensing soap?

All the eggs we colored were from our hens.
