Sleepy boys on the drive to Nana's.

Cuties!

I thought this picture of Jack was cute.

Parade fun!!!

Sitting with their parade candy.

Back home with Daddy.

This morning Jacob woke us up at 7:45. We watched Curious George and then had breakfast. I did some painting and sewing this morning. Jacob played with his trucks and cuddled on the couch with Daddy. Adam slept in until 11am. After lunch I left with the boys and headed to Mom's house. Jared took the day off from work and stayed home to rest. The boys fell asleep quickly on the drive to Nana's. Mom drove with us to JoAnne Fabrics. As I was about to back out of the driveway Mom asked me to wait while she looked thru her purse to make sure she had her coupon. An ugly bug crawled up my sleave and I knocked him to the floor. I got out of the van to look for him but couldn't find him. Suddenly the van started rolling back, I'd forgotten to put it back into park. The door pushed me into the van and Mom said something like, "hurry, get in!" I jumped in and pushed the brake, whew that was scary. In the store Jacob only wanted Nana to push the cart. We found some cute material to purchase. I took Mom back to her house and then headed over to Mel's house to watch the parade that goes down their road. The kids played until the parade started at 4pm. They had a lot of fun watching the parade and collecting candy in their buckets. The parade ended with several firetrucks which the boys loved. The kids sat in the grass and ate some candy. Then they played on the slide/fort and in the sand box. We got back to Nana's around 6pm. Adam fell asleep on the drive so I layed him down for a late nap. After dinner Mom and I had fun sewing. Kenzie and Jacob played with playdoh. Then Kenzie also did some sewing. Adam woke up at 7:30 and ate a late dinner. Kenzie and Jacob watched Cars. We left at 9:30. Dropped Kenzie off at her Grandma's house before heading home. Jacob fell asleep and stayed asleep as I lay him in bed. Adam was very awake and acting silly. He went to sleep quickly when I lay him down.

Michigan people are out strutting their stuff all summer long. Then they go in the house and don't come out till next spring unless they are wearing tons of winter coats, etc. Well, until the ice carnival. I think their parades have a wonderful way of celeberating outdoor living. They really know what that is.

It was so nice spending time with you and the boys. I was so happy Jacob wanted nana to push him in the cart. They are so sweet and such good boys. I enjoyed our sewing session. You sure have talent in that area that I could use to rub off on me. Love ya!
