Jacob asked me to get my camera and take this picture.
This was Adam's expression after sliding down on his belly.
Adam kept trying to get the ball to stay on top of that block.
I took a couple pictures from the many times he got his arm stuck in this thing.
I got up around 7am and worked on painting the eggs sign. Jacob woke up at 8am and we looked at truck pictures on the computer. While he was eating breakfast I did some more painting. Adam woke up at 9:30. We watched Clifford. Adam was really cuddly. The boys ran around driving with their steering wheels (their frisbee’s). We watched a little Sesame Street but the boys were interested in other things so I turned it off. Jacob asked if he could paint. I got out the eisle and the paint. He picked out the colors he wanted to paint with. Then for Adam I taped off a square in the kitchen and threw a bunch of scrap paper down. Adam enjoyed sweeping the papers into the square and also had fun picking them up and putting them into the square. Jacob wanted to sweep also. Adam painted while Jacob swept. After Jacob got everything into the square he wanted to mess it all up and do it again. We also listened to some fun Raffi music. After lunch I cleaned out and reorganized the kitchen cupboards. Jacob had fun playing at the counter with his trucks. He haled all the baby spoons around on his trailer and used my cake decorating tips as cones. The boys had fun playing with their slide. Adam liked going down on his belly. He also enjoyed rolling things down it, likes the bus or a ball. Jacob likes to climb up the slide and jump off of it. We went outside to play on the deck. It’s warmer today but very windy. While Adam was napping Jacob played with his cash register and his cement truck. He puts the coins inside of the cement truck and told me he was going to make roads and sidewalks. I did some more painting on the signs. Then Jacob and I sat down and put together a puzzle. Adam woke up after all the dogs barking when Daddy drove in the driveway. This evening Adam kept getting his arm stuck in the ball popper. We had fun stacking some blocks. Jared was looking for the boys tunnel in its usual spot but it wasn't there. I told I had moved it. He laughed because it reminded him of the Lucy episode where they switch apartments. Ricky finds his socks in the desk drawer and baby toys stuffed in the chair. Lucy say, “I’m putting things away for three you know”. Anyway, we laughed. After dinner Jacob and Adam were playing at the end of the hallway where Jacob had crammed a bunch of toys (tunnel, slide, large stuffed horse, truck, ball popper...). Then Jacob came down the hallway holding his pant leg up and looking at his knee. He said, “look, my owie’s all better, I fell on the cement and I fell on the road and now its all better, God healed it, that’s amazing!” Jacob put a block over the closet door handle and told Adam, “don’t touch this shocker fence, like the goats have”. After dinner Jared started feeling really, really sick again. He had bad abdominal pain and was puking a lot. The boys had fun in their separate baths again tonight. Adam had been begging for another bath in the duck and Jacob asked for a bath "without Adam". They were asleep by around 9:30. We left to take Jared to the ER around 10pm. Got in the room around 11pm. Jared was in so much pain and puking a lot there. The doctor came in around 12:30. He asked Jared a bunch of questions and told him it was some stomach thing that’s going around right now. We left around 1pm with some prescriptions. Of course, the boys were alseep as soon as their heads hit their car seats. After making a couple stops we got home around 2pm.

Now that was a different day. ER...I would say a flu shot would be on the schedule of coming events. Might help to make coming illnesses a bit easier for JB this winter. Knowing JB as I do for the first 20 years of his life, he needs all the help he can get. Bad germs just find him. Poor Adam...no words are necessary when looking at his very, very sad face.
Kimmy are you sure it wasn't your cooking?? ;-)
Sweeping papers into a taped square??!! What a clever idea!! This will really help with their co-ordination -- AND support good habits!
So, Jared was reminded of a Lucy episode in which she was putting things away for THREE -- you are putting things away for SIX, aren't you?
I hope Jared feels better. And that the germs do not visit other family members.
No wishing anything bad on anyone but the prescriptions you get at the MD's office keep the AC and Heat on here in big R. Also keeps food in the bowl so I can leave lots of fur all over the house.
I hope JB has some good sense to stay home in bed away from anyone until he is well. I'm really hoping!!!!!
I love the faith of a child. No wonder God tells us to come as little children. How exciting that Jacob knows God healed him.
Nice pictures. The duck bathtub looks neat. you wonder why Adam keeps going back and getting his arm stuck when you look at his sad face. Cool idea to put tape down for a square and let them have so much fun. Love ya!
