Last night when we went to cover up Jacob we found his asleep on the floor like this.

Trunk or Treating.

Where's Jack?
Here he is.

On the hayride.

The neat arch playground

Adam woke up at 8am. He cuddled in bed with us. Jacob came down to our bedroom around 8:15. We left around 9:30 for drinks and donuts. Dunken Donuts was all out of donuts and muffins this morning. Jared went back to Tim Horton’s to get donuts and a muffin from there. Then we walked around Salvation Army and also went to Goodwill. We got home at lunchtime. Jacob rode around on his tractor and pulled his cart behind him. He put a pile of note cards in the cart and said he was hauling woodchips. Jared went to Home Depot to pick up a few bags of wood pellets for the corn burner. Soon after he came back we headed over to Mom’s house. We got there around 3pm. Jacob was excited to see that Aunt “Bippi’s” car was in the driveway. She and Jacob played with the dollhouse. The put batteries in some of the toys like the car and pet beds. Aunt Bippi let Jacob turn the screwdriver to tighten the battery cover. He was excited about doing that. Mom rocked Adam but he never did fall asleep for a nap. Vikki and I took Jacob down to the basement to play. Vik and I played a couple games of ping-pong. We had so much fun and lots of laughs. We each won a game. Jacob rode around on the tricycle. Mel and her family arrived around 5pm. Hailey and Jacob played with the Barbie cash register. Jacob told Mel, “we’re playing with this Barbie sing(thing)”. After dinner we headed over to Wes and Gayla’s (family friends) church where they are having Trunk or Treat. The kids had lots of fun going around to the vehicles and collecting candy. Wes gave us an extra long hayride, which was tons of fun. The boys wanted to play on the arc playground so we took them to play for a little bit before heading into the church. Inside the church they had a Sloppy Jo dinner, cookies and drinks. We got back to Moms house shortly before 8pm. The boys fell asleep on the drive home. Now Jared and I are going to watch some episodes of I Love Lucy.

Lucy episodes we watched were:
1) Bonus Bucks (Ricky finds a winner and slips it into Lucy's purse. She pay the grocery boy, who gives it to Ethel. They split the $300 in winnings but end up getting $1 after expenses).
2) Ricky's Hawaiian Vacation. (To wind a free trip to Hawaii with Ricky, Lucy writes a letter to a TV game show).
3) Lucy is Envious. (To impress a wealthy former classmate, Lucy and Ethel each pledge "five" ("five" meaning $500) to a charitable cause. They dress up as Martians and invade the Empire State Building).
4) Lucy Writes a Novel. )Lucy writes a novel. Ricky and the Mertzes burn it but she had a hidden copy. It gets publised in a chapter of a book. The chapter is titled, How not to Write a Novel.

Max was that Monkey last year also. We are still waiting for Jacob's kangaroo costume. Last night he used one of Kenzie's costumes. He was a boy riding a horse.

How about all of the grandchildren dressing up for the Georgia/Texas/Indiana folks? We could see all of them together.

Thanks for the updates. I obviously need to see all these over again, because they are not coming clearly to mind.
