Here is the sign by our driveway. Jared did a nice job on these signs.

Here is the sign we put at the end of our road.

Jacob asked Daddy, "you still got a bug in your belly?"

Adam loves Yellow Bear. He is giving him back to Daddy.

I thought it was cute how they layed down and put the puzzle together.

Jared was having a hard time sleeping last night so early this morning we moved out to the couch. Jacob woke me up at 9am. Daddy and Adam slept in until 10am. We went into town for drink and donuts. Jared just got a drink because he is still not feeling good, though he is feeling better. We walked around Salvation Army, Goodwill, JoAnne's, and Home Depot. Got home around 1:30. Mom let me bring home her sewing machine - love it! I had a lot of fun using it today. The thing even threads your needle for you. Anyway, I made some more barn yard bibs and a burp cloth using the material we picked out yesterday. We have learned a lot since sewing the first set of bibs. The bibs are for my cousin's baby, my Mom (well, her grandchildren), and sister Mel's kids. Jared worked on building a stand for holding the egg signs. During dinner our neighbor came over and bought 5 dozen eggs. (Note: we usally get about a 10-12 eggs a day. I think we'd get more if we didn't let them free range). We hadn't even hung the road sign yet. He also gave us a stack of egg cartons almost as tall as me. After dinner we took the sign down to the end of our road. We got out of the van and Jacob looked at the van lights and told Daddy, "they go off awh-o-ma-ick-ly (automatically)". Adam wanted to go with me to lock up the chickens. The boys got extra long baths tonight. Jacob enjoyed a bubble bath. After they were alseep Jared and I watched I Love Lucy.

The signs look really nice. And I love how Jacob asked about the bug in Jared's belly. He probably really thinks there is a bug in there.

Is the burp cloth for Jared when he is sick?

Jared...your grandmother would be so proud of you and your egg sign. I guess what goes around comes around. Nothing new under the sun. Humm...I remember large eggs at .60 cents a doz. Pullet eggs started out at .35 cents.
