The boys woke up at 8:30. I had the pumpkins lit when they came out this morning. They enjoyed looking at them. Adam stood on the couch and looked at each one several times. Some music was playing during breakfast. Jacob did a little dance in his chair and said, “I have some good moves”. After the boys were ready for the day we watched Clifford. Adam always likes to feed the dogs after Jacob. He puts a little in the scoop for each dog dish. Then he always wants to give them a little water too. Jacob and Max really liked to play in the hallway. They put the slide and exercise ball near the end of the hallway and said it was their “pool”. They had fun sliding into their pool. Then they tipped the slide sideways and pretended it was their house. They had fun hiding on me. Adam was acting fussy this morning. He liked when I swung in his blanket. He also enjoyed playing with the matchbox cars. It’s a nice, rainy day. After lunch we went outside to play in the rain. Jacob wanted to line up at the door before we went outside. The boys had fun running thru the big puddle. Then Jacob collected the eggs. We fed the pumpkin guts to the chickens. Adam headed over to the slide and the other boys followed. Max loved going down the curly slide. Jacob didn’t want to got down the wet slides. We headed back inside around 2pm. Adam wasn’t ready to come back inside. He ran thru the puddle a few more times. I got the boys out of their wet close and put them in the warm tub for a bath. I put their clothes in the dryer so they be nice and warm when they got out of the tub. Nana called and said Hailey wanted to talk to the boys. Max talked to Hailey first. Then all the boys talked to her and Nana on the speaker phone. Adam kept saying, “Hi Nana” as the other boys talked. We had a snack and hot chocolate. Adam napped from 3-5pm and Max napped from 3-5:30. Jacob was very tired and rested on the couch. We read some books. He watched his bulldozer movie. As we waited for Daddy to come home the boys and I played hide and seek. Once I hid under a towel in the big pile of clean laundry on our bed. Jacob and Adam came looking for me. Adam smiled and found me right away. Jacob looked for me in the closet. He looked at the bed but still didn’t notice me until I jumped up and scared him. That sure got the boys laughing. Jared came home around 5:30. The boys and I hid under a blanket behind the rocking chair. They giggled as we waited for Daddy to come find us. Then Adam yelled, “Hi Daddy”. Daddy pulled the blanket off of us and Jacob said, “I wanna do that again!” I got the laundry folded and put away. Jared had class tonight from 7:30-10pm. This evening we sat at the table and colored. I gave Jacob and Max some scissors and a tractor magazine. I helped them each make a little tractor book. We glued their tractor pictures onto construction paper made into a book. Jacob is getting good at cutting around a picture. Max likes to cut little tiny pieces. I went thru the magazine with him and cut out pictures that he liked. He kept saying, “Are we making a little tactor book, are we?” Adam sat at the table and colored with crayons and markers. Max and Adam were tucked in by 9pm. Then Jacob and I sat and read several books and his bible. Then he said, “lets sing in the rocking chair and talk about my day in the bedroom, that a good idea?” Jared and I watched a couple episodes of I Love Lucy. (1) Ricky Loses His Temper – Lucy bets Ricky that she can go longer without a new hat than he can go without losing his temper. (2) Home Movies – Ricky refuses to let Lucy and the Mertzes appear in his pilot film, so they make their own movie. Lucy secretly splices their movie into Ricky’s film.

Thanks for the day's events. Rain sure doesn't slow you or the boys down. I'm impressed that Jacob does so well with his cutting skills. Go Jacob and go Mommie. Love you all. The box could arrive today. That's my hope.
