Jacob came into our bedroom around 7:45. Adam woke up around the same time. I enjoyed listening to his thru the monitor as he sang the clean up song. We got up at 8am. The boys sat at the kid table and watched Curious George. Max woke up around 8:15. Jacob and Max sat at the little table and played with cars. Adam wanted to sit at the table with the big boys so I got a stool for him to sit on. He kept messing up what the boys were doing so I took him to the couch and we read, “A Very Busy Spider”. Then we all played with the blocks. Max asked Jacob to get out the tunnel so Jacob went to his bedroom to get it. Jacob opened it up from him. At lunch or snacktime Max and Jacob alway want to sit right next to each other at the table. Soon after we finished lunch Mel and her family arrived. Max was excited to see his family. He seemed especially excited to see “baby Jack”. He sat by his Mommy and rubbed Jack’s head as he asked his Mommy many questions. Aunt “Meme” showed Jacob pictures she had taken. I thought it was sweet that she took so many pictures just to show the kids. Jacob loved looking at all the tall buildings in Chicago. She also showed him the pictures from the aquarium and a video of jellyfish. Aunt Meme told him something about a seahorse and Jacob said, “Mr Seahorse keeps the eggs in his pouch”. He then ran to get the book, “Mister Seahorse” so we could read it together. Then Mel got out the deck of cards to show the kids the train they had rode on, which is pictured on the cards. Jacob really liked the cards and he was excited when Aunt “Meme” gave them to him to play with. She told him he could keep them until next time we see each other. They left around 2pm. Jacob and I went outside to collect eggs. Then Jacob asked if we could play in his fort. We climbed up and he said, “I want you to keep me warm”. He sat in my lap and we cuddled together. We sang some songs. The he said, “I wanna play tag your it”. We slide down the slide and played a game of tag. Then we went back up in the fort where he wanted to cuddle again. Not long and he was ready to play “tag your it” again. We went inside and played the matching game with some cards I’d taken out of the train deck. Soon Mom and Dad came by for a visit. Jacob was excited to show them his pumpkins. I helped Mom order a camera dock to recharge her digital camera. We were happy to find out it was on sale at Sam’s Club. They left at 3:30. Adam woke up shortly after 4pm. He cuddled with me for a while in the chair. Jared came home from work around 5pm. We headed downtown to the pumpkin festival. Jacob was all excited to go Trick or Treating, but when we got there he didn’t want to do any activities or even hold out his bag to get some treats. I helped Adam do the beanbag toss and he loved holding his buckets for some treats. He even tried to say Trick or Treat. Daddy helped Adam do the pumpkin bowling. Then we walked over to do the pumpkin rolling. Jacob was excited to pick out a pumpkin to roll. Daddy was just as excited. It was fun to watch them roll fast down the hill. After that Jacob was ready to go trick or treating. We walked around to the different stores where they were passing out candy. There sure were a lot of people. We watched the “slowest bicycle race” and then watched a guy ride his bicycle over a car. We waited in a long line to go for a hayride. That sure was fun. When we got in the car Jacob said, “I had a lot of fun”. We went out to dinner at fazoli’s. The boys were really excited to get postcards in the mail from Aunt Meme, Uncle Bruce, and Jack. Mel wrote such sweet notes to each of the boys. Jacob had to sleep with his postcard tonight.

Another great day on the farm with yet ANOTHER festival in the Tri-city area!! Wow! How you Michiganders party!
That looks like a fun festival. Do they have that every year? Max would love the pumkin bowling. Glad the boys got their postcards in the mail. That's cute how Jacob slept with his.
Yes, Jared just found out about it from a guy at work yesterday. We had a great time. It would have been fun to dress up the boys.
We'll have to remember that. It would be a fun thing to do every year.
