Adam woke up at 8:15. I brought him into our bedroom and he lay with me for a little while. He was happy to see the dogs in the bed also. Soon he was up crawling around and giving the dogs hugs. He'd get down and run around saying, “hi dow-dee”. Then he’d ask for help back up. He was looking at Truman’s paw so I lifted it and told him, “this is Truman’s paw”. Then he kept pointing at his paw and saying, “paw”. He then brought me some books to look at. Jacob came down to the bedroom at 8:45. With a very expressive face he said, “Kate puked in my bedroom”. He took me to his bedroom and showed me. Truman had puked up two socks in his bedroom. I got out my spot lifter and Jacob helped me by spraying the stains. At breakfast I asked the boys if they wanted a banana. Jacob said, “I Do!” Then Adam also said, “I Do!” over and over. Jacob wanted to play with his cars first thing this morning. Adam always likes to empty the doctor kit. He had fun playing with the link toys. . After we were ready for the day we went outside. First we went for a walk down our road. Then we walked over to the paddock where the horses are right now (out by the goat paddock). We brought a bucket and found some nice leaves under our big maple tree to put in it. Then we walked over to see the horses. The horses loved all the attention and the boys enjoyed petting them. As we walked back thru the barn Jacob said, “I loved doing that”. We took a little hike along the woods behind our house. We found some more pretty leaves over there. I wanted to walk the trail that leads (or used to lead) thru the woods. I couldn’t even find where the trail begins or ends. Jared’s going to use the chain saw and we’ll make another path. It would be fun to walk thru it with the boys. We went inside for lunch. After lunch Jacob helped me peel papers off the crayons and then I made some crayon shavings. Jacob and Adam (with my help) arranged the leaves on some wax paper. Both boys enjoyed sprinkled it with crayon shavings. They watched as I ironed them. We did some without crayon shavings too. They look pretty hanging on the door window. I worked on laundry while the boys played with their Little People things. Then we read some books. While Adam was napping, Jacob and I played with his cars and the fire station. Then we lie on my bed and read some books. He watched Thomas train. Adam woke up at 4:45. Jared got home around 5pm. The boys begged Daddy for some candy corn out of the candy dish. Daddy told Jacob he could have just 2 more. Jacob cried because he wanted 3 and acted like he didn’t want the two he had. I set them aside and told him he could have them back when he told Daddy thank-you. He threw a fit because he still wanted three. I sat at the table and skimmed thru the Hobby Farms magazine we’d gotten in the mail. Adam wanted the hard paper I’d ripped out of the magazine. Jacob said, “I want one too, please”. I found him one also and made them some paper airplanes. I thought Jacob had forgotten about the candy corn but then he went over to Daddy and said, “I sorry Daddy, thank-you for the candy corn”. After dinner Daddy and the boys played on the floor with cars. Adam played with a car that has a door to open. He’d asked Daddy to open it and then he’d pushed it around on the floor. He’d then shut the door and say, “uh oh” as he handed it back to Daddy. We went outside to feed the animals. We’ve started giving the horses, goats, and sheep a little hay. The boys helped feed the cats. Jared hooked the gravity wagon up to the tractor, pulled it thru the barn and parked it near the house. Soon we’ll need to get it filled. The boys liked watching. Then Daddy gave them each a tractor ride in the dark. We came back inside around 8pm. The boys had a snack and I made Jacob some hot chocolate. After I changed Adam into his pj's he started singing the clean up song. I hope I can get it on video for you all to hear. Daddy brought home some large pieces of paper used for packing. We had fun drawing on a piece with the markers. Jacob said he was making a rainbow. He said, "God promised not to flood the earth again".

Jared dont you remember the red hots? I remember we always got the amount in red hots that we were in age. Maybe Jacobs going through that stage..remember my everything 4 when I was 4..well maybe you dont but mom will remember that esp when I took the Phenabarbatols..I wonder if the RX person will chime in with a comment??
Those are beautiful leaf window hangings. Not only do the boys look as if they are dressed for fall, but now the windows look as if fall is in the air.
Well, he'd already had one, so he got his age amount:)
Love the pictures with the horse. That was such a good idea to hang their leaf pictures in the window. They look so pretty with the light shining through them.
