The boys woke up around 8am. We left for church at 8:45. Jacob was excited when I told him where we were going. Both boys have so much fun playing with the other kids and all the "new" toys. We left at around noon and it was pouring rain outside. Just walking into Salvation Army we got soaked. We went to Tim Horton's for donuts and a capuccino. Then we stopped at meijer for a some groceries. When we got home we let the chickens out of the coop and collected eggs. First, Adam had to run thru the puddle. Jacob collected the eggs and carried them up to the house. Today Jacob has asked a lot of, "what's my job, what's your job?" or as he's doing something he'll say, "thats my job". The boys had fun playing in the puddle, especially Adam. Then Adam ran over to the apple tree and reached for an apple. Jacob looked at me said, "I can climb the tree and get a apple for Adam". He tried, but needed my help to get him up far enough. By the time he got the apple Adam was interested in something else and refused to take it from Jacob. Jacob was happy to see that the chickens wanted the apple and he threw it down for them to peck at. I read to Adam and then lay him down for a late nap. He didn't wake up until dinner time. I put away the groceries and then Jacob and I played pretend with the Potato heads. He told me his was the Daddy and mine was the Mommy again, then he said, "and we are friends". He told me he was going to drive a back hoe and asked me what kind of tractor I was going to drive. I told him I was going to drive a bulldozer and he said, "you can drive a back hoe too". Jacob put the yellow "construction" hat on his Potato head. When I asked him why he was wearing that hat he replied, "that so no airplanes hit my head and that protects me so that the diggers don't pick me up". I (Mommy Potato head) put a sad face on because I hurt my arm. Jacob said we needed to get to the doctors. He (Daddy Potato head) was the doctor. He took off my arm and put on a different arm. He wanted to trade glasses and laughed when I pretended I couldn't see out of his glasses as I bumped into things. We had a lot of fun. Jacob played at the counter with his trucks while I cut up veggies for soup. Jared came home around 5pm. He isn't feeling well and only got about an hour of sleep last night. He lay down and got in about an hour nap. Jacob and I sat on the couch and read a Mother Goose nursury rhymes book. When Adam woke up he was very fussy. He was much happier after he ate his dinner. This evening the boys had separate baths, which hasn't happened for awhile. I found this new duck tub for $1 at Salvation army. It's actually for our next child but I let Adam try it out. The boys seemed to enjoy bathtime to themselves (and the alone time with Mommy and Daddy). Adam talked a lot. Jacob liked having more room for fishing and laying down in the water. They both wanted to stay in longer.

Andrew had that same ducky tub..so much so that by the time he out grew it there was a small hole in it. He loved trying to make the duck quack by biting his beak..probably how we got a small hole in it. :-(

Yeah for water puddles. They are the best and the price can't be beat. Yeah for water puddles. Your lawn looks so nice and green. The brush is gone! Jacob's tree picture is as good as Adams tree picture. Check out Pasty.com for great color pictures taken around Copper Harbor by plane. They are beautiful. You are the best picture taker ever. How about a chicken picture with Jacob and eggs. Miss you all.

I am not clear about who is having the most fun with the Potato Heads . . .

I am glad you have a tub for your next child -- but, won't you be needing two?

And I noticed that you read the Very Hungry Caterpillar a couple of days ago, but I have not heard about the Giant Hungry Caterpillar spitting out children in quite some time. Perhaps it will return when Jared feels better . . .

Also looks like Jacob and Adam were also trying out for the Olympics...and didn't make the team either
