Jacob came into the bedroom around 8:15. We lay under the covers with the mattress heater on. We got up around 8:45. Jacob and I played with cars by the couch. I peeked into Adam’s bedroom at around 9am and he was standing up. He had been so quiet and I though he was still sleeping. After breakfast I took Jacob back to the computer and showed him pictures from Halloween last year. We watched Sesame Street. Adam was being really kissy this morning. He kept walking over to me with puckered lips and then he’d grab my head and kiss my lips. He’d walk away and then come right back with a pucker. Got out the crayons and some paper and we sat at the little table to color and draw. After lunch we went outside. It was a beautiful day (mid 40’s). Adam carried the basket to the coop but wasn’t about to give it up when Jacob wanted a turn. I went inside and found another basket. Both boys collected eggs today. Adam didn’t want to carry the basket back up to the house so he set it down. Jacob picked it up to carry but Adam certainly didn’t want Jacob carrying "his" basket. Jacob gave it back to him. Adam took it and set it back down. I carried his basket up to the house. Jacob climbed down in the ditch and Adam sat in the grass and begged to go down there too. I helped him down and they ran back and forth in the ditch. After we got back from our walk we played in the sand. As we started to head back in it started to sprinkle. It was past snack time. After they ate their snack we sat on the couch to read. Then I tucked Adam in for a nap. Jacob played with his blocks and cars at the little table. Jared came home around 4:30. Adam only napped for about an hour today. We had Sloppy Jo’s for dinner, which the boys loved. After dinner they boys were laughing at Daddy who had tied himself up with my robe belt. He had his hands tied to his foot and hopped around the room. Then Jacob chased Daddy with the tongs pretending to be a lobster. Daddy got the tongs away and then chased Jacob. Jacob was laughing so hard. Adam asked me to tie his wagon rope to the tractor. He put some cars in the wagon and pulled them around. Today when I asked Jacob to do something his response has been, “I CAN do it, I can do anysing!”

I LOVE that 1st pic of Adam. What a adorable smile, o and love the little tongue. He is precious.
Check out my blog, theres a special little pic of you guys. Call me when you see it. Im so excited to know what you think about it. ITS AWESOME!!!
Great pictures and great stories to go with them. What are you doing with all the eggs? If you have way to many ou might take them to a soup kitchen. We would hard boil them and put them in the salad when we had eggs. Do you have any pantries in Midland. Just an idea if you are swamped with eggs.
Did Jared call them two handed sandwiches...thats what we called them when we were little because they were so messy you had to use 2 hands to eat them
Yes, great stories and great pics. The tongs bit is very funny.
I am not sure what to think of a grown man who ties himself up. Kimmy, can you deal with this?
Kimmy...you have proof that you will never know what to expect if you live with JB. It was that way from the beginning. Never a dull moment. Hide the ropes!
I love Adam's smile in that first picture too.
