Adam would unzip his pj's and then when he couldn't zip them back up he'd say, "uh oh".
Adam woke up at 8am. I brought him into my bed. He crawled around giving the dogs hugs. We played with a few blocks and then I read “The Very Busy Spider” to him several times. I tried to get him to sing the clean up song on video, but he was too distracted by other things. Jacob woke up around 8:45. Adam ran right to the door with the leaf pictures. After breakfast we watched Clifford. Then I cleaned out the cabinets in the bathroom. Jacob played with his tool set. Adam had fun looking at a big pile of picture cards. He got really fussy but was much happier after snack time. The boys helped me dust. After lunch we went outside to play. Jacob and I played catch with the Velcro frog mitts and ball. Then we let the chickens out of the coop and collected the eggs. The boys had fun in the leaves again. Then we played in the fort. Jacob caught Betty (a chicken) and brought her up in the fort. She is the nicest chicken, very tame. Jacob wanted to drive around in our “cars (sticks for steering wheels)”. Adam followed us driving with his stick. Jacob would get stuck in the leaves and I’d tow him out. Then he would have me tow him to the auto shop and we’d fix his car. The boys wanted to look in the gravity wagon so I opened it up. I let Jacob turn the wheel to close the door. I gave Adam a ride on my shoulders and he loved that. We went back inside at snack time. Adam napped from 3-5pm. Jacob played with his cars. I vacuumed and cleaned up the house. Jacob helped me mop the kitchen floor. Vikki and Kenzie came around 5pm. Kenzie is behind on a lot of school work so Uncle Jared is spending the evening helping her get caught up. Mel and her family came over around 6pm. Max is staying with us until Thur. Jacob was really excited to see his cousins and is very excited that Max is staying here. Adam showed me “Baby (Jack)” who was asleep. After dinner Vikki, the boys, and I headed over to Salvation Army so it would be quiet in the house for Kenzie. After leaving Salvation army we stopped at Tim Horton’s and Dunken Donuts. The coffee tasted more like water and the donuts were crispy. Vikki called them when we got home and our Sat am trip tomorrow shouldn’t cost us anything – thanks Vik. It was past the boy’s bedtime when we got home. Kenzie had completed all her homework. We tried Max sleeping in Jacob’s room but they were both too excited. As soon as we put Max in Adam’s room both boys fell asleep very quickly.

Hi Max. I love you. Have lots of fun. I'll try to call you tomorrow after we ride the choo choo train. XOXOXO
Just look at Max! His face is growing into that of a big boy! Wow! What happens to these little kids in Michigan?
