We left for Mom's house around 6:30am. When we got there Mom was just leaving to take Kenzie to school and go to Grandpa's house. We had breakfast and then played. Adam was really tired from getting up early so around 9:30 I lay him down for a nap. Mom got there shortly after he fell asleep. I trimmed her dogs hair which took a couple hours due to the matts in her hair. Around noon Mel and her family came over to finish up her laundry. Adam woke up and spend some time with Aunt Missy while I finished up on Mocha. Jacob was excited to play with his cousins. After lunch we took the kids outside to play. First they played on the swing set/slide set. Adam sat next to us in the grass. The kids they decided to walk in the woods. Mom's got a very narrow wooded area that they had fun walking up and down collecting sticks. Max kept picking up sticks and didn't want to set any down so he had quite the handful. It was chilly out but the kids sure didn't mind. They played on the deck and walked back and forth on a ladder that was laying down. Max decided to put his hand in the bird bath and got his mitten and coat all wet. It was a little after 2pm so I went inside to nurse Adam and took Max in with me. Nana lay Max down for his nap and he fell asleep right away. Soon after Mel came in the Hailey and Jacob. Hailey was overtired and reluctant to take a nap. She really liked when I "tucked her in like a burrito" and fell asleep quickly after. Jacob, who was resting on the couch, fell asleep. Jared got there around 4pm and we left to take the van back to the dealer. Jacob stayed asleep at Nana's and Adam came with us. He fell asleep in the car on the way there. Jared made them an offer but we left with no deal on the van. Jacob was still sleeping when we got back. Kenzie came home with us to spend the night. She and Jacob came outside with me to help me feed the animals. It was rainy and cold. Kenzie wanted to try and carry a bag of wood pellets into the house but could not make it very far. Her and Jacob had lots of fun playing until dinner was made. This evening we got Kenzie's mattress ready and right away Adam started crawling back and forth over it. He also tried to take a step up onto it (picture above) but just couldn't get his foot up high enough.
