Both boys were up before 8am. We watched Curious George and Clifford and had breakfast. I got out the Little People toys and barn for the boys to play with while I dusted the house. Jacob saw me dusting and said, "no me wanna play, I wanna help you". I got him a rag and he helped me dust. It was very windy and sunny outside. The temp was in the low 70's today. This afternoon I opened up the windows which felt really good. Adam was fussy most of the day especially in the evening. He is drooling alot and has a very runny nose. I've been checking for his forth molar to cut through. I got the house vacuumed and Jacob still likes to help me by holding the cord for me. While Adam was napping Jacob and I went outside. We walked around the house and looked at the flowers coming up. There were some ducks in the water by our house and they flew off as we walked by. We took care of the animals. As we went in the stall to check on the broilers I noticed they had opened up the rolled cardboard we use to keep them together. I got them back together and went to get their food scoop. They knocked it down again and some more chicks were loose. Jacob helped me catch them and he picked one up himself and put it in. This time I tied the cardboard together. Jared came home from work shortly before 5pm. We lowered the mattress in Adam's crib to the lowest level. He was trying to get his leg over the side of the crib this morning. Jacob liked helping Daddy loosen and tighten the bolts. Adam liked playing on the mattress on the floor. After dinner we went to Pet Smart. I got to drive the new van again and loved it. We also stopped at TSC. Watched American Idol this evening. Jacob loves to climb up Daddy and stand on his shoulders. He kept coming over to me and saying, "Ewe wanna watch me do dat, dat toe punny, watch me". Then he'd ask me if it was funny and tell me to laugh.

Kimmy...thanks so much for the blog. It makes me feel like I'm living next door to you. I'm really good at pretending. I love having the doors open and to hear the birds. Now we need the leaves on the trees. It's always something. Say hello to the boys from their grandma R.
What? Are flowers JUST now coming up? Our Japanese magnolia are long gone -- and the dogwood have been blooming for weeks now and will soon be gone -- just as the azalea are coming into bloom. Wisteria has been blooming for several weeks, too. Of course, daffodils were up months ago.
Be prepared to hear me whine about uncomfortable heat, even in the early morning.
